This can depend on where you live, what car you are driving, how old you are, and how much melanin you have.

I know several people who have been pulled over more than once, and others who have never been hassled, all in the same area.

If the tint is high enough they can't tell your tint

I always work under the assumption that any cop will ruin your day if you give them an excuse. Hence I try to fly under their radar as much as possible.

It's one of those things that cops only pull you over for if they seen you as suspicious but don't have a legitimate reason. Or sometimes if they are just bored and want to harass someone

How would a cop see age/melanin level with one’s windows deeply tinted?

Seems more likely to me that the type of car being driven, and how, would be the most likely things to get one pulled over for having it.
