Men, what’s one small, seemingly insignificant thing you’ve noticed that can be a telltale sign of the difference between a genuinely good man and a bad one?

Shitty bosses, parents, teachers, coaches, etc etc have run that one for millennia.

I was a grown ass man teaching kids when I realised this

If I wasn’t working, I would have found somewhere to cry

Really did think it was always up to me. Honestly still do a lot of the time…

As a second career teacher, the internalized sense of "it's up to me!" definitely seems like the root of most teacher burnout.

I think we've overcorrected in a lot of ways that insinuate that working miracles is the expectation.

The ol' "My bad, your fault". I've usually seen it hit as "Sure I forgot about X, but you should have reminded me".
