Rules PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE POSTING

Please check out the Official FAQs on the Amazon Flex website and subreddit rules before posting.

We also have our own FAQ that is also linked to in the sidebar ----------->

The sidebar also has a link to download the Flex app, the Flex Support contact info, the rules for this subreddit, and a warehouse list.

You may find the answer to your question there.

Many questions being asked here are repeat questions and are answered in the FAQ. Please check before making a new post.

If you need help with the Flex app, please include the app version number and whether it's Android or iOS in your post.

Also, please don't post useless threads about how hard it is to grab blocks, people using bots at your warehouse, what times the blocks get released, etc. Those posts add nothing to the discussion and will be removed.

Thanks!

There is a Discord server that was created and is maintained by the mods of /r/doordash but has been built to support any courier service. They have graciously invited Amazon Flex drivers to participate and have created a channel for Flex on the server. You can access it using the this invite link: https://discord.gg/e9GNb9M.

If you are a DSP driver, there is now a subreddit just for you! Head on over to /r/amazondspdrivers for all DSP-related discussion. Please note that it is not maintained by the same mods.

Los Angeles account deactivated

woke up at 3:30am for my 4:15am block only to find out as i’m warming up my car that my account got deactivated. i’m devestated bc i left my job to do flex full time after seeing that i make more money doing flex. i’ve already written emails and called phone numbers trying to appeal the decision. they said i missed too many blocks and didn’t pick up my route several times. I do fresh deliveries and the warehouse i frequent often has problems where carts go missing(stolen?) and when that happens i contact support and they say they wrote tickets for it but it still seems to have affected my standing. I also qualified for half of the healthcare subsidy and hadn’t been paid out for it yet AND block earnings i was waiting to be paid out for. has anyone had any success getting their account reactivated and if so were you able to still receive your healthcare subsidy? i’ve been so stressed out and wasn’t able to go back to sleep after. I have doordash and uber but don’t make anything on those apps. does anyone have any advice or other app recommendations i can use in the mean time or possibly forever with the way the job market is looking rn ….. Also if anyone on here happens to know of a place hiring for $27/hr or more (full time) please let me know and I can send over my resume. I’m a 25 (soon to be 26) year old female in the LA area, let’s connect!

UPDATE: i got reactivated

For those of you who work a full time job and also do Amazon Flex, how do you manage both?

Do you usually grab early morning blocks before work, or do you do blocks after you finish your regular shift?

I’m also curious how you deal with the exhaustion. If you’re working 8 hours and then doing Flex, or waking up super early for a block before work, how do you stay awake and still have enough energy throughout the day?

What schedule has worked best for you without completely burning yourself out?

Am I wrong?

• Upvotes

So I went to this Whole Foods and it was the first time I had ever been to this particular location and I picked up about 40 bags. I had parked on the curbside pick up which is right by the entrance and there are five spots and all five were empty. As I was loading my car, the worker comes out and tells me that I can’t park there because that is for curbside customers only she said if I need to park somewhere, it has to be in the garage on the lower floor. I feel that as a driver, the customers are technically paying for this so we should be allowed to park at curbside if there’s no one else in those spots. I understand if I was chitchatting with another driver, but I was just trying to get out as fast as possible. I felt subhuman being told that I need to park on the lower level of a half empty garage to begin with. So tell me if I’m wrong I’ll accept it . Again it’s my first time ever going to this particular location.

I’ve been building an Amazon Flex trip tracker — looking for feedback from other drivers

I’ve been working on an app specifically for Amazon Flex drivers and wanted to see what other drivers think before I take it much further.
The idea started because I wanted a better way to keep track of my actual mileage, delivery time, earnings, and blocks without having to manually keep notes after every route.
Right now I’ve been working on features like:
🚗 Automatically tracking a trip when heading to a station
📍 Tracking mileage from home → station → route → end of trip
📦 Keeping track of stops/packages
💰 Scheduled block pay and actual earnings
⏱️ Actual hourly rate based on how long the route really took
📊 Weekly and monthly earnings totals
🗓️ Calendar for scheduled Flex blocks
✏️ Ability to manually add/edit trips and mileage
📱 Live trip progress while delivering
🖼️ Saving screenshots/notes with individual blocks
🔔 Notifications and automatic trip detection
📈 Eventually showing more stats about stations, routes, mileage, pay, etc.
I’m also experimenting with being able to create a scheduled block from a screenshot instead of manually entering everything.
This isn’t affiliated with Amazon — it’s just something I’ve been building because I wanted it for my own Flex deliveries.
Before I spend a ton more time polishing it, I’d really like some feedback from actual drivers.
Would you use something like this?
What would make it useful enough that you’d actually keep it installed?
Also interested in hearing:
What Flex stats do you currently track?
What do you wish the Flex app tracked?
What feature would be a must-have?
Would automatic trip/mileage tracking be useful to you?
Anything here that you wouldn’t want an app tracking?
I’m especially interested in brutally honest feedback. If you think it’s pointless or there’s already a better way to do this, I’d like to hear that too.
If there’s enough interest, I may put together a small beta for other Flex drivers to try

Socal/Irvine station 2025 Analysis/Changes

Thumbnail

Hey guys here I created a sort of analysis project to sum up how my driving experience was delivering for the VAX1 Irvine same day delivery station from EARLY 2025 to the END OF 2025. My aim at that time was to kind of help inform those new to this type of work on what to expect delivering out of this station. I never did post it then but I am posting it now, not only to document my own experience at that time, but illustrate on how things have changed. Delivering out of this station is not as it once was! As of today i do not see anymore 5hr/4.5hr/4hr routes and (from personal anecdotal experience) and see more packages and more stops for the routes that are available.

My Data sources are the following:

Amazon Flex App: Source for shift blocks, gross pay, and official start/end times.

Everlance: GPS-based logs used to track exact mileage for every route.

Delivery Metadata: Geolocation and timestamps extracted from delivery photos

WORTH NOTING:

  1. my car does about 37mpg, has relatively low costs of wear and tear, and low depreciation.

  2. The only cost here is the cost of gas and NOT the wear and tear or depreciation of my vehicle

  3. gas was cheaper then (averaged $4.10 a gallon)

  4. Dont have current data as I stopped collecting data beginning of this year (2026)

In Summary: Amazon collects data during our amazon deliveries. They do whats in their best interest and if their best interest is to generate more money for amazon then, well, ill let you take a guesss as to why we probably dont have longer blocks and a general feeling of more work.

Literally was just done with a soccer tournament, tired asf. Came home, showered, picked up a 2:15-5:45 for 122.5. Came there, checked-in, waited 4 mins but not assigned, went to car, took 20-min nap, and came to this. Came home later, had the best fucking sleep of the week

Missing packages

So how do you guys go around missing packages? I got marked 3 times so far for missing packages that weren’t in my cart I’m not sure if they were placed in the wrong carts or what? Are we supposed to count the number of packages before we leave the station on top of numbering them for the order or what??

WTF My life flashed before me!

So I'm out early this morning delivering to a rural part of Riverside county CA..... I'm on this really dark street and going through my packages. I keep hearing some slight rusling of rocks on this gravel road but thought nothing of it. I then close my next door and there standing in front of me is a pure black wolf dog. I about soiled myself, and I ain't gonna lie.....2 drops of pee came out. I stayed calm and reached into my pocket and handed him a milk bone which he took. His demeaner then changed and he became friendly. I'm so glad because he could of easily hurt very bad if he wanted. The moral of the story: Stay calm and carry dog treats on you route.

Warning about cancelling scheduled routes

Post image
• Upvotes

Honestly the app auto generates offers and warns you if your schedule changes (I think I cancelled well in advance on the block I just cancelled, maybe days) that you won’t be able to accept blocks. And yet, I did a long commute to a block and back where only the best of the best drivers would have finished on time and started me late). Anybody else experiencing this? I thought the rule was 45 minutes and it’s frustrating to see this warning especially when the windows are tight and there’s barely any offers above $19/hour when you factor in the commute. Anybody considering just doing Uber / Lyft? The pay is basically the same but sometimes better. And you don’t have to carry stuff, go to ghetto routes unless you want to, and deal with dogs 😕

Question Any Montana drivers?

I drive out of the Belgrade hub, which is only a .com warehouse. There are absolutely NO ROUTES!!! I’ve been driving since they opened, about a year and a half. I have a full time job, so I do this after work and days off. I’ve always been able to get about 5-10 routes/week. This last month, I’m lucky to get 1-2. This week……0!! First time I’ve ever gone a whole week with no routes. Considering working part time for a DSP. Anyone have any idea what might be going on?

r/AmazonFlexDrivers • • 10h ago

The .com is sending our drivers hella far for all routes (120 miles round trip easily even for 3hr $81 ). Do Amazon vans go that far?

Do the vans just stay local, and they get us to take the rural/hella far routes? Just curious

Flex debit card question

Is there a way to instantly transfer money from my flex debit card into my bank account or Apple Cash card? I tried the Venmo method and it doesn’t work for me.
