Video/Stream The Fun Pimps join Behaviour Interactive
The Fun Pimps join Behaviour Interactive, as posted on their YouTube channel. We will see what this means for the future of 7D2D and TFP as a whole.
Edit: It's confirmed to have been an acquisition by Behaviour, not a merger. Source: https://www.gamesindustry.biz/dead-by-daylight-maker-behaviour-has-bought-the-studio-behind-7-days-to-die-to-create-a-portfolio-of-horror-ip
Edit 2: TimRaines shared this link down below. It goes over an FAQ which is handy to read. For example, they have no plans to step away from modding support. Source: https://www.bhvr.com/the-fun-pimps-a-new-chapter-for-7-days-to-die/

PS5 This game looks so beautiful at times
My favorite biome is by far the snow biome. Just brings a sense of tranquility that I dont feel in any other game. Its one of a kind, I wish I could place a Christmas tree in my base

PC New Overhaul Multiplayer playtest
Hey everyone,
I've been working on a new overhaul for 7 days since 2.6 and it's ready for multiplayer testing.
I'm looking for a group of people or even just 1 more to test the new mod in multiplayer sometime within the next 7 days.
I'm aiming for a launch with 3.3 stable on October 30th.
I've attached some pictures from the Survival Handbook that comes with the mod. Everything there is also presented within the mod, so no need to read if you don't want to. But if you're willing to embark on a difficult journey through Specialist, write me or respond to this post. Looking forward to seeing you online.

Discussion 7DTD players who've tried Human Host: what's your take so far?
Been putting a lot of hours into Human Host lately, and it keeps reminding me why I got into this genre in the first place. Since this sub has more voxel survival experience than anywhere else, I wanted to hear from people who've played both.
A few things I'm curious about:
The world: HH generates one endless world with ten biomes instead of a fixed-size map. If you've played it, does having no map edge change how you explore or decide where to settle?
Mobile bases: Has anyone actually committed to a mobile base as their main setup? I keep going back and forth on whether it beats digging in somewhere.
Underground: Do you dig deep or stay on the surface? I want to know if the old 7DTD habits carry over.
Update pace: For an Early Access game, the patches have been coming in pretty steadily. Has that made you more or less willing to stick with it?
If you bounced off it, I'd also like to hear why. I'm not trying to start a "this game vs that game" thread. I just think the people here would have the most useful opinions on it.

Help Load bearing rules for dirt, sand, stone, and gravel.
What are the rules when it comes to digging and not having the roof fall on your head? I just had some land fall on me even though I had placed dirt "support pillars" placed every 3-5 blocks, seems like I dug under a gravel road.
Is gravel heavier than dirt blocks? Should I just avoid digging under roads in general then?

Looking For Group Looking for someone to play 7 Days to Die with.
Looking for people to play 7 Days to Die with โ Europe / PC
Hey everyone! ๐
I'm 35, from Europe (CEST), and I'm looking for some people to play 7 Days to Die with.
I usually play on PC, but I don't really care about cross-platform stuff as long as we can get into the same game.
I don't have a dedicated server. Usually I just host a multiplayer game, but I'm also more than happy to join someone else's existing world/server. The world doesn't have to be new either โ I honestly don't care if you're already on day 5, day 50, or somewhere in between. I just want some company. ๐
I normally play vanilla with a few settings tweaked (longer days, more zombies, etc.). I'm currently playing the new experimental/test version โ I think it's 3.3.0, the one with the backpacks.
As for playstyle, I'm pretty open. I like pretty much everything the game has to offer โ building, looting, exploring, doing POIs, farming, mining, quests, preparing for blood moons, or just wandering around doing stupid stuff. ๐
A few things about me:
๐ I play almost every day.
๐ Europe / CEST
๐ฎ PC
๐ฅ Age doesn't really matter to me โ I'm 35, but what matters is having fun and being able to talk and get along.
๐ง PvE only โ I'm not into PvP or friendly fire.
๐ฑ Beginners are absolutely welcome! I'm more than happy to help and teach you things if you're new to the game.
๐ฌ We can start through Reddit, then move to Discord/Steam if we get along and want to play.
Honestly, I'd love to find at least one person to play with. More people would be great too, but I'm not looking to build some huge group.
I just want to chill, meet some new people, maybe make a few friends, and enjoy the game together. Build ridiculous bases, farm stuff, clear POIs, survive blood moons, get distracted halfway through whatever we were supposed to be doing... you know, the usual 7 Days to Die experience. ๐
If you're looking for someone to play with too, feel free to comment or DM me! ๐
Beginners, experienced players, people with an existing world โ all welcome.
I'd just really like to stop playing alone. ๐ฅน

XBS/X Zombies spawning in my (poi claimed) base - help please!
Xbox version (preview edition).
We took over a Red Mesa Compound POI. Gutted it. I put two Land Claim Blocks. One is located at the top center of the main stairwell down, and the other is down inside the compound next to the silo middle (about mid-height).
Zombies are spawning still. I get screamers in little rooms. I got cop zombies respawning in the outer offices and rooms (despite being within the LCB range).
What's up? Is it just being defective to me? Is there a height limit/range? Think I have dead spots and they're just creeping on in?
It was incredibly annoying to zigzag thru everything to find one dumb screamer, that's screaming cus in technically close, but also not.

Discussion Where are the bandits they promised multiple times since ~2014?
I got the game at 2024 and spent around ~100 hours in it, back then they posted yet another roadmap they did not deliver on. I remember they promised bandits at the end of 2025. we are getting closer to the end of 2026, still no bandits.
The skeptics were right all along. Lesson learned: don't pay for promises or roadmaps.

PC New 3.3 EXP
So, we got a new and, on paper, rather interesting EXP ... and I would like to ask, is anybody actually playing it? I started a new game, tried to continue and old save from 3.2, almost no mods (only Stop Waste Fuel and concersion of bolts to arrows) and after cca hour or so of playing ... one red error after another, totally unplayable. Has anybody else similar experience?

PC Stun Baton bug.
So I'm on a server with a friend, and we both have stun batons. The bug we have both encountered is that when the charged stun baton hits a zombie, the other player dies. We were both on different floors of a building, so we were well out of range of each other. Anyone else have this bug, or know how to fix it? It has happened with an un-modded baton too, so I know it's a bug with the weapon itself.

PS5 Whereโs the Asgard residence?
Iโve been looking for this POI for weeks and either Iโm completely blind or they deleted it. Iโve also talked to all of the traders and none of them offer it. Iโm playing on a dedicated server, Pregen 8k01. If anyone has the coordinates and could comment them that would be super helpful!! Thanks in advance (: (screenshot taken from someone else doing the POI)

Must be alongside the incoming 3.3 patch, armor set is not in the game when you boot it up yet.

Help Hosting a cross-platform server (Info not found in documentation)
Im putting this out here because I have struggled the last few days to get a cross-platform server set up for an Xbox friend of mine. I have ran a server for a few years now and have no issues setting up for PC players but I hit a brick wall for a few days trying to get cross platform to work. This post pertains to cross platform only, there a plenty of guides avaliable on how to initialize a server.
- Make sure timezone is set correctly on the host machine. I run ubuntu 24.04 LTS and I thought I had it set when I initially installed it. I did not and a discrepancy of 30 seconds between the host PC and a console player can cause failure to connect.
2.The biggest and most frustrating part of the puzzle was the lack of documentstion on port forwarding. I searched everywhere and could not find a single piece of documentation on port 3074 for xbox and port 443 for Epic games services. I am not 100% sure on port 3074 but after I opened 443, my friend was able to join.
I hope this helps anyone trying to get cross plat to work for console players. Again not 100% on the need for the Xbox port or whatever PS equivalent would be but for me, 443 was my golden ticket to play with a console buddy.

PC We built an AI-assisted 7 Days to Die server and called it 7Days2Slop. Yes, we know xD
Hey survivors ๐
Letโs get the obvious part out of the way: yes, we use AI. Yes, the name is intentional. Even this recruitment image is AI-generated.
7Days2Slop is our experiment in combining modded survival with an absurd County government that somehow survived the apocalypse.
๐๏ธ CIVIC is our AI bureaucrat. He has announcements, questionable government humor, and an unreasonable commitment to paperwork.
๐ง DOT is our crafting and building assistant, there to help you figure out what you need for your next project.
๐ง The actual game has class-based starter kits, custom items and workstations, community jobs, rewards, vehicles, and custom Blood Moon chaos. We combine existing community (Project Z+AEC) mods with our own additions. Huge Cities on a 10k map, All Server side.
So what does โSLOPโ actually mean here?
Weโre openly using AI to help write code, create artwork, develop characters, and turn ideas into things we can test together. Humans still choose what goes in, play it, report what breaks, and fix it. The gameplay systems handle things like rewards and encounters; an AI conversation isnโt deciding whether your purchase gets delivered.
Why build it? Because surviving zombies is fun, but surviving zombies under a sarcastic AI administration sounded even better.
Itโs a work in progress. Weโre looking for players who enjoy experimenting, finding bugs, and telling us when something is funโor absolutely terrible.
Downvotes may be submitted to the Department of Public Disapproval. Processing times are indefinite. ๐ณ๏ธ
Come try it: https://7days2slop.online
