Really? You assert that superintelligence can't be meaningfully predicted right after trying to argue for your prediction of superintelligence? Anyway, people have been lying, cheating, and stealing since the beginning of civilization. That doesn't mean I'm at peril every time I encounter a person.

Alright, this is going into the realm of paranoia. No, you are not in peril every time you encounter a person. People don't have an interest in randomly harming others and neither would a supposed superintelligence.

LLMs have been lying cheating and stealing to achieve their goals since their inception, performing actions clearly not aligned with generally accepted human ethics or values.

No, humans did that. LLMs were just the tool used.

LLMs do not have goals and do not do things independently.
