I was thinking the same. What could the benefit of releasing this information possibly be? 🤔

Scientists often have back channels that ignore political boundaries. Same way the information got out from China at the start of COVID, a scientist shared it with other experts (and was punished for doing so)

They’ll probably say he’s been in a bunch of EU countries in the past week, you know, to cause panic

By releasing info it allows for greater response from the international community.  If it was contained like they claim then they wouldn't have released it.

You say it’s an accident, when it actuality it’s the first salvo in your war against NATO.

Remember all of those secret meetings in September? When the CIA flew to the Kremlin to confront them, and European leaders started going on a war footing and claiming that Russia may start a major war in October, and the Polish PM said that we’re in for a very difficult few months?

Maybe it’s been known in intelligence circles that Russia has been planning a biological attack to further destabilize the world order.
