NWN 2: EE NWN2:EE on Steam worth buying or no?
Following my other thread today about my thinking of getting NWN2:EE on Steam, I was looking at the store page and noticed there are a LOT of negative reviews. The main complaint seems to be that it's buggy and hell and crashes a lot. Some people say that at best it's no improvement on the original NWN2, and at worst it's... well, worse. Just wanted to get the thoughts of the community here before I decided to spend the money on it, because it's not exactly dirt cheap, and I already own the original NWN2 so if the Extended Edition is trash then I won't waste my money on it.
If you own the EE on Steam, what are your thoughts? Do you regret paying for it? It is better/worse than the original game? Do you have a lot of trouble with it crashing constantly, or is it more of a mild annoyance than a crippling problem? Love to hear your thoughts please.

NWN 2: EE I need to create the most OP character I can.
[Mild spoilers for Act III of NWN2 OC] I tried to play through NWN 2: EE a while ago but eventually hit a roadblock I could not overcome, Sydney Natale, this fat hag is a freaking monster, although I blame the trainwreck that is this game's itemization.
I was even playing a goddam Cleric of all things, but as I said, that wasn't good enough, so I need something stronger than a cleric. I require the combination of race, class, and prestige class that completely and utterly breaks the game, and most importantly, breaks that hag.

NWN 2: EE Riddle me this: if both my main char and Neeshkahave the same amount of XP, then why is she one level behind me and the rest of the party??
galleryWhaddup, chaotic evil Cyric worshipping murdеr hobos??
So im just getting annoyed by the fact that Neeshka is one level behind me and the party. What could that be? Maybe she got permanently level drained by some undead or spell? One maybe its just one more of those billions of dumbаss bugs that this so called "enhanced edition" has? What do yall have to say about this?

NWN 2: EE Trying to find a home
So I recently purchased NWN:EE after being persuaded by a TikTok I saw of the game. I honestly had no idea a D&D game like this even existed! I love D&D, so I was pretty excited to sink my teeth into it.
The person I watched was playing on a server called Haze: Saltborne, so naturally that was the first server I tried. I enjoyed it, but as a brand-new player I was pretty disoriented by there not really being NPCs or quests to guide me along. The roleplay was also really heavy, and being new to everything, it almost felt stressful like if I wasn’t constantly interacting or roleplaying, I was doing something wrong or might get kicked. Now don’t get me wrong, I still really enjoyed the server and might end up sticking with it. But I recently logged back on and decided to try another server called Prisoners of the Mist. Pretty quickly, I felt like I had finally found something that scratched that itch for me. There were NPCs when I first started, things to fight, places to explore, and an actual reason to leave town and see what was out there.
I didn’t get too deep into it before hopping on Reddit to read about other players’ experiences with the server, though, and I was surprised by how many negative things I found. Some people had put hundreds of hours into it one person said around 700 and still felt that the server had some pretty serious issues at its core.
A little about me: I’m the type of person who doesn’t like investing a ton of time into something if I know I’m eventually going to leave because of underlying issues. I like finding a home and sticking with it. I’m a huge MMORPG fan, and I’ve never liked constantly jumping between different games. I’d much rather find one that I really enjoy, commit to it, build a character, learn the world, and stay there for the long haul. I’m looking for that same kind of experience with NWN.
So my question to all of you NWN vets out there is:
what server would you recommend for someone like me?
I definitely enjoy RP, but I don’t necessarily want RP to be the main source of entertainment or interaction in the world. I like quests, NPCs, reasons to explore, things to fight, gear to work toward, character progression, and actual PvE content alongside the RP. I’m also not necessarily looking for something super hardcore. Hardcore doesn’t scare me, and I don’t mind some difficulty, but I’d like to be able to get some decent gear, explore the world, and leave town without feeling like I’m going to immediately get my ass handed to me because I don’t already know everything about the server.
Basically, I’m looking for a server that feels like an RPG/MMORPG world that also has RP, rather than a server where RP is the entire game. Somewhere I can explore, quest, fight, progress my character, meet people, RP when it comes naturally, and hopefully settle in for the long haul.
Any suggestions would be beyond appreciated. I’m brand new to NWN, so I’m open to pretty much anything you guys think would fit what I’m looking for. But if Haze is the best then there I shall stay!
Thanks for reading!

NWN 2: EE Nwn2 Ranger dw weapons
I narrowed down the possibilities to basically 2 choice: 2h short sword with weapon focus and improved critical or main hand scimitar/long sword and off hand kukri, both weapon focis, but no imp crit for either. in any case crit range on all weapons are 18-20. what do you think?

NWN 2: EE Avoid the game on consoles
Title.
Awesome game. And, as you might expect, it is a nightmare to play with a controller. Get it on PC.

NWN 2: EE Which one to buy? NWN 2 or NWN 2 Enhanced Edition on GoG
I never played NWN 2. As a new player, should I buy the original NWN 2 or the Enhanced Edition? I want to play on PC and Steam Deck and concentrate on the main story + addons.

NWN 2: EE Ideas for next class to play?
Hi folks. Neverwinter Nights is one of my favorite game series of all time, and I'm about to buy the NWN2 Enhanced Edition on Steam so I can play it through again. I've finished the game twice, once with a human fighter dual-wielding battleaxes, and the second with a drow Pale Master with a level or two in fighter so I could use a scythe (going for the whole Grim Reaper aesthetic). The fighter was a solid character but the Pale Master really sucked - in retrospect, I should have specced him as a raise dead cleric instead, but yeah.
Anyways, as I'm looking to okay it through again with the EE, I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions or ideas for a fun class or archetype to play this time. I'm especially keen to hear about your experiences with the prestige classes, which ones are interesting and fun, which ones suck, etc. I'm hoping for a different experience than just generic fighter, spellcaster, etc. What's your favorite class/prestige class to play and why?

NWN 2: EE Any money / dupe glitches on console?
Edit: This is specifically for Neverwinter Nights 2 Enhanced Edition on the Xbox, as tag implies. I am not asking about the first game.
Looking to make a lot of money to experiment with gear, but I'm on Xbox so I don't have access to console commands. Any other way to get free gold?

NWN 2: EE Nwn2 ee does anyone want to group up with me?
I got this to play with my friend but he played for 1 hour and stopped playing. Looking for anyone who wants to join me in my campaign im still at the start and im willing to start over completely. Im on ps5 but as long as we do a regular multiplayer world without mods and all that then we can group up.

NWN 2: EE Sorcerer/Wizard/Warlock unlimited spells known mod?
Hey, is there a mod or a way to get access to every spell for a specific class? I want my character to be able to cast every possible spell in the game, without being limited to a ridiculous maximum of six spells. Thanks in advance for any help or answers.

NWN 2: EE What to play, what to play
I picked up NWN2 EE recently on Xbox after enjoying the first. Played both on PC many many years ago.
I've now racked up a few hours on NWN2EE just by looking at the class list. After playing a Sorc through the OC and HotU and not realizing until the end that there's not much benefit to staying Sorc past 20, I don't want to make the same mistake again.
I'm looking for suggestions for the fun builds to play (all the way, not just max level). Sorc with Arcane Scholar seemed solid, with the bonus of being able to Cha(t). That had me thinking, am I missing out on Red Wizard though, or is it even worth it, def prefer Sorc to Wiz.
I've also enjoyed Weapon Master before, focusing on crit either with Scythe or dual Kukri. I've always loved Monk, but it's a bit weak, and I remember Sacred Fist doesn't count as Monk for access to whatever challenges were available in your keep, so that kind of thing is worth keeping in mind.
Thanks in advance.

NWN 2: EE Thank you Khelgar
I may not have built him correctly, or given him any sort armor once he became a monk, or bothered to learn how monks work, but Khelhar Ironfist did save my folly-full run.
This was my first time playing and I had made it to the final fight where I needed to destroy the statues surrounding the King of Shadows, so I had Khelgar relentless attack them while the rest of my part fought. I did not even bother controlling the other members of my party, I just was watching Khelgar punch. Even when he would only do 2 or 3 damage to the statue and other times do 20 something damage, I just kept him there.
By the time the statues were done, the rest of the party had fallen. I desperately had poor Khelgar running around in circles, sometimes punching the portal, then running back. But once the portal was broken and only the King of Shadows remained, I realized I may be doomed.
Khelgar ran into that little room to the side that you enter from, and the King of Shadows was pulled over there into that room with him. I thought it was over. But then, for some reason, Ammon Jerro got back up. I didn't build him either.
Ammon started searching the bodies of my fallen companions while Khelgar was still fighting and found one scroll of resurrection. This was an incredibly lucky find because I typically sell all my scrolls.
With that scroll he picked, he was able to resurrect my Knight-Captain, and together went to help Khelgar who actually managed to stay relatively unscathed while also having brought the King of Shadows to half health.
The King of Shadows fell, the day was won. Thank you Khelgar Ironfist. And Ammon Jerro but he had a lot to make up for so maybe a little less thanks for him.
Now to Mask of the Betrayer!
