"Tiny" Kyle Larson crash damage
Kyle; Thankfully, I was able to limp it home. It got exciting, for sure. I wish I could have won in this paint scheme while honoring Kyle because that would have been in very Kyle Busch fashion.

That’s one hell of a race to be my first
After last week’s heartbreaker, a Briscoe win for my first ever in person race sure as hell made up for it. THANK YOU NASCAR FOR TWO GREAT DAYS OF RACING!

Will Alex Bowman become only the third full time* driver in Hendrick Motorsports history to lead 0 laps for a full season?
This has only been done twice in the history of Hendrick Motorsports, and with 5 races remaining, Bowman is on track to become the third!
2016: Kasey Kahne - 0 laps led
2001: Terry LaBonte - 0 laps led
*obviously there is an asterisk on Bowmans 2026 season because he missed 4 races this season due to vertigo.

NASCAR really needs to take more aero off the Cup cars.
Preaching to the choir here obviously, but man do these cars just absolutely suck in anything other than clean air. The fact that Larson couldn’t get within two car lengths without the car plowing like a dump truck and bleeding a ton of speed is depressing, especially with how the last run of the O’Reilly series race went. Ditch the rear diffuser completely, chop the spoiler size in half at every track type, and get the rear of the cars off the ground. Narrower tires would also help, but I can’t see that happening any time soon. This car has shown flashes of being able to race well, and I think they’re close. But races like these have been frustrating to watch because they could’ve been so much better without the aero blocking.
EDIT: I understand the physics limitations, dirty air always being a thing, and the need to still have downforce somehow and coming from somewhere. I guess my biggest gripe is that I just feel like these guys can’t freely race one another without being so stuck. I want to get back to the point where you can make passes without having to have such an advantage coming from other factors like tires. If the trailing car is faster, they should be able to better complete the pass without hitting a wall of aero.

Honest question not trying to be mean
Does Cody Ware even sell merch in the hauler shop area at tracks? Like I’ve been to a lot of races and now thinking about it I don’t believe I’ve ever seen 1. A Cody ware/ RWR hauler or 2. A fan wearing RWR or Cody Ware merch.

Blaise Alexander was lost in an accident in an ARCA Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway 25 years ago today
The passing of Blaise would result in the HANS device finally being mandated in NASCAR and ARCA, something that has incorrectly been attributed to the passing of Dale Earnhardt earlier that same year.

What’s your earliest NASCAR memory?
I’m a newer NASCAR fan, so my earliest is Elliott’s radio “LET’S GO GET IT!” after he won Martinsville with Harvick’s downfall in the background. https://youtu.be/KDGWDN0Xi-o?si=pfwSld9gq5viCq00
