Before the voting begins, a report informing there are no votes is printed and placed in the entrance of the voting room for anyone to see. It's called "zerésima", given it shows zero votes.
why? they do so in order to demonstrate it's "clean" before, and after for how many people voted and how many votes each candidate received. People from all parties can see that and do their own count.
