Imagine having the last name Butt and choosing to go with a nickname that is a verb.

Just go with Tricia at that point.

I had a classmate whose last name translates to "hit" (as in telling somebody to hit something; a verb not a noun). And some old fashioned teachers would take attendance reading last name, then first name. So he got read as "Hit [firstname]" sometimes (occasionally causing a buddy to joke "ok" and box his shoulder)
