The bit where she runs to spike for help convinced buffy is after her is hysterical 💀

I have watched Buffy god knows how many times since it was originally aired. And yet somehow when I watched Living Conditions (S4, E2) my brain thought that Kathy was playing a Celine Dion song on repeat in their dorm room.

I watched it again yesterday and my brain finally went IT’S BLOODY CHER!!

How the heck did I think it was Celine Dion for this long?! 😂 I think I just saw the poster and made 2+2 = 5 😅

It's been a little long while since I rewatched the episode and it's still blew my mind in every way. Sarah and Eliza are stellar in it but obviously the standout to me is miss Gellar. She jsut hits so many right notes in her portrayal of Faith, it's honestly insane. Even the unhinged way she lashes out on herself at the end, it feels like Faith doing it not Buffy (Buffy has a similar breakdown in Dead Things, when she take it out on Spike but it feels like Buffy and different from there). Watching this and imediatly jumping into Five By Five of Angel is just peak TV.

Also, just because I feel like gushing, Sarah Michelle Gellar is genuinely one of the most beautiful women out there. Up there with some of my favorite beauties like Shannen Doherty (her bestie, may she rest in peace), Angelina Jolie, Valentina Zenere, Nina Dobrev and else. Her teasing Spike is one of the hottest thing ever (the way Spike looked at her made it 10x hotter). I remember asking on this sub what it about her beauty because it's just mesmerizing. Yep, I'm gushing.

I was clapping my hands.

Edit I didn't expect her to die that fast. Lol

sorry not sorry

first time watching!

I love how it’s the iconoclastic season finale. And how it’s visually striking, especially on a show not known for its cinematography.

My man splurged on a tufting gun, he loves it & I made this to see if its for me. (Yes I know I need a lot of practice on detailing lol) It was meant to be finished & posted for SMGs birthday but it sat in the living room for the past 3 weeks due to con season lol

Was Buffy's scream in Hush done by a voice actress to preserve SMG's voice?

I’m just gonna leave this here. I guess I’ll blame The Millennium. Made people dress all crazy like. Especially Rodeo Cowgirl, Buffy.

whenever this scene is up i’m cracking up on the floor this was delivered so perfectly by Spike.

He has some great lines throughout the series, but some of his season four lines (especially Pangs, Something Blue, and Hush) make me laugh out loud

Walsh betrayed her because reasons and severely underestimated her, even when they first met she didn't think of the Slayer as something that impressive. Then she thought two demons could kill her off, obviously Buffy took care of them even with the faulty weapon and delivered the epic line. They killed Walsh too quickly so this scene didn't have much impact for Walshe's character but in the moment it was the most proud of Buffy I been watching the show.

Prolonged lifespan ? The ability to speak themselves ? They turn into a giant snake like the mayor ? The possibilities are endless

Finally got here on my rewatch and couldn't wait until this scene. cracks me up every time

Such a great episode of TV, and I hope the actors had a great time filming and getting to be more expressive just through their faces and actions
