I’ve been rocking my Series 6 since April 2021. Zero complaints! Except the battery was down to 73%. I wear it overnight and could no longer make it through the day on a charge.

Was torn on getting a new one. The SE would do everything I need but I worry about the durability, and the Series 12’s smallest size is now 42mm (I have tiny child wrists, even my 40mm is borderline too big lol)

Took it to the Apple Store to get the battery replaced, and instead they just ordered me a brand new Series 6 at the battery replacement fee. So I sit here now this evening, where my battery would usually be in the red, and it’s at 47%. Stoked!

Hopefully I can get another 5 years out of it!

I’m a big fan of the Ultra watches but thought I’d try something new. Went in the opposite direction and switched to the 42mm Series 12 in titanium for the dressy look. I have to say that I’m really happy with my decision.

I’ve always wanted to get the Link Bracelet, and it looks beautiful in the Natural Titanium.

So far the battery life has been surprisingly good. I’m currently at 80% battery at 7 pm and it’s been off charge since 7 am. I charge it in the morning while I’m getting ready and it’s fully charged before I leave the house. It’s great having the multi-day battery life on the Ultra, especially when travelling, but this is working for me as a daily driver.

I may go back to the Ultra in the future, but for now I’m really enjoying the aesthetic this combo gives me.

For reference my wrists are around 6.5” diameter.

Sold my Apple Watch Ultra 1 and picked up the new Apple Watch Series 12 in Dark Bronze.

I thought I’d miss the rugged look more than I do, but the slimmer profile and lighter weight are a refreshing change for everyday wear. Loving the new color too.

Anyone else move from the Ultra back to the regular Series? What has your experience been?

So I was changing my alarm for tomorrow, and it says it can’t change it… Is it just me, or does this seem like a basic feature of an expensive smartwatch? (Apple Watch series 11, watchOS 27.0.1)

When I was buying my watch I couldn’t find any irl photos of the light gold watch with the gold Milanese loop anywhere, I could only find the gold band with the other gold one and it was super frustrating! So here’s what this combo looks like for anyone else who wants to see it. Got photos from lots of angles so you can make your decision if this is the combo you’re looking at :) I also find this band a LOT more comfortable than the sport band which I also own!

Just got the 42mm series 12 in dark bronze with milanese loop. I was debating between 46mm and 42mm. Unfortunately I don’t have a photo with 46mm for comparison.

How does this look? does it look too small for my wrist? My wrist is 7 inches

My first ceramic. Coming from mostly ultras. Really enjoying the look and feel of this one. I swap out with my ultra 3 in black. I was worried about battery life but it’s fine.

I think the Reflections and Pride Luminance watch faces were really built around the form of newer watches. The digital and physical glass (metal, for Reflections) really play off each other in a way that I can’t seem to capture in photos. I’m not sure if it’s because of the changed glass shape, the new kind of glass, or just that it’s new. If you can see one in real life I recommend it.

Wore green today, had to make sure it all looked good!

This is by far my cleanest setup. Top right is world clock of my city but I deleted the abbreviation so it would only show the digital time. I hate how world clocks are wrapped around a circle dial and that it always shows the time zone difference. And I also have an analog version so I can tell the exact time in seconds.

I think we can all agree that FineWoven was the worst thing that ever happened to Apple. For the last few years the only thing that has stopped me from getting a modern buckle band was that they were made from FineWoven. But this year, they look distinctly different. I'm wondering if anyone has any info or photos of the band in person?

Thinking of moving from an 8 to an Ultra 4 but I am underwhelmed by the bands. What do people think are the best bands? I play tennis, run, golf, hike and occasionally swim.

I recently switched from a Garmin fénix to Apple Watch 12. I know some people might consider it a major downgrade but I missed the Apple ecosystem. Unfortunately I have a small wrist so the ultra looked ridiculous on me. I was so scared about battery life but I just completed a half marathon and it only drained 25 % of the battery. Really impressed

There’s no 30 second option which would be trivial to add, I find 15 seconds too short to process all info on my ultra modular face which has a bunch of complications showing info

70 seconds is ridiculously long however and not needed.

I just need a middle option between those extremes and wonder why it isn’t there, seems like an obvious thing

I’m curious. Can you folks that have the new series 12 let me know if you can play music or Audible audiobooks through the built-in speaker? It’s something I like to do on my current U3 when I am falling asleep.

The audio on my U3 is decent for quiet spaces so I am hoping the new series 12 (ceramic) can play music as well.

Main motivation for me to make the jump is actually the readiness score. How has your experience with it been?

I know there are 3rd party apps that can give you their equivalent of a readiness score, but each different app/company’s calculation of readiness score is different and if you ask me I’d believe Apple’s readiness score more (if there are any discrepancies).

Would love to hear from those who made the jump from SE3 to S12, but also the wider S12 user base!

Anyone else noticed this? Brand new watch 12, was working just fine for 24 hours, now any notification is so quiet I can barely hear it. No matter what volume you setup in settings, when you use “auto volume” all 3 settings sound the same (even in settings while testing them). When testing music playback all is fine, so looks like a bug. Updated to whatever was released today and still same issue.

My resting heart rate per my series 7,8,9 has always been 66. My resting heart rate since I got the series 12 is 73. Anyone else notice a jump? Nothing else has changed, if anything fitness has improved.

Upgraded from AWU2. I’ve sorely missed the link bracelet.
