The uber guys are really creepy here in Windsor. I feel so unsafe while travelling by uber at times. Some folks are fine. But the last driver I had I felt really creepy

Is there any place in windsor for oral sugery that will listen to the urgency of my issue? I have an impacted wisdom tooth that is actively decaying and the gums around it are infected and swelling around the tooth. I cant eat without being in pain. I cant even sit here typing this without being in pain. I got a referral which isnt until November 17th. I cant wait that long.

I'm on naproxen and tylenol. Yet I'm still in pain. I went to an emergency dental place just to be told it "seems like you bumped the gums and they're irritated" and that it was just a cavity and sent me on my way. I don't need all four out right now, only 2 have even come through the gum, both on my left. I just want this one out and treated asap.

I know its hard to own a dog in this economy, and this is a post I never wanted to make in a million years.

A family friend is trying to give my family a dog because they have no other options to manage the dog when they move away— the problem is, my family is incredibly abusive to animals.

I am begging them to seek other options, but they are scared to leave him in the humane society. If this dog ends up in this house, he will be neglected, and treated terribly.

If anyone is familiar with raising dogs, and is interested in adopting husky, please let me know. I am genuinely desperate for the sake of this animal and his well being. He is a male husky, fixed and has all his shots. He was born Nov 12, 2024, he is very chill and laid back. He enjoys walks and socializing. He is good with other dogs and has no problems with cats. He is a good dog. My family is just terrible with animals.

Every day I drive through Sandwich and it’s clear many of the businesses are busier than ever with all the bridge traffic.

My Mother's been getting coaxed by Reliance to get a new HVAC system and unwelcome sales pitches, even though it works fine. I'm trying to find an HVAC business that won't just try and upsell her every time, she just likes having an inspection for peace of mind and tune-ups when required once a year or so.

If anyone has any recommendations, also how to get out of a Reliance whole home protection plan with water heater rental (Unfortunately she signed a scam rental agreement with them). Every time she calls them they try and refuse doing work despite paying $70 monthly for the service place on and try to upsell her on stuff instead so I'm trying to see if there's some way out of it.

In the middle of 2025, I saw a few military vehicles driving along the road near the airport. They were vintage, at least one Willys jeep, and in particular, a truck pulling a Bren carrier on a trailer. I swear I saw them this year too. Is there some sort of WWII event that goes on in this area at certain times of year?

I see a lot of pet portrait tattoos but never really get to see if they did good on actually making it look like the pet. I’ve wanted a tattoo of my soulmate cat for years, but am really nervous about it not looking like her and just looking like a random cat.
I’m heavily tattooed, I know many artists but am going to be very picky on this one. I know artists don’t show the drawing till day of which makes me nervous as I would feel bad saying no to getting it if they don’t draw her right.

Hey I wanted to maybe get a sense for job offers or people who have gotten a call back from the new Costco being built. They held a job fair about two weeks ago and I was lucky enough to get through both rounds of interviews and they seemed to like me and had a job in the store in mind for me.

Has anyone who went to the job fair ever end up getting any contact back with the company or someone who will work at the new warehouse? I have tried looking for contact information on their website for Canada and didn’t find anything. Anyone’s information about this would be greatly appreciated cus I was very interested in working there and I don’t like being stuck in the dark.
