She's also 100% wrong. I got married in that park. You have to pay for a permit but they most certainly do allow events.

Seriously, I live in the bum fuck nowhere of the midwest and all our parks have a rentable 'scenic' area for half a day for only $150 specifically for events like this, bdays, showers, family reunions, etc. I expected California parks to be no different. It's a major revenue source for parks department!

For my money it's how she called the police and still needs to be heard. What's the problem lady? I thought you already did the thing. You can fuck off now. Your opinion being heard is meaningless and has no value

That s assuming the cop call was even real and not just a scare tactic. Even then, maybe she went to make her shit-opinion heard because the police / dispatch told her it wasn't actually a crime.
