I will never get tired of watching the absolute dregs of Western Europe in the Americas telling other people to "go back to wherever".

Bitch there's a hovel in the Scottish Highlands with a you-shaped-hole in it. Lead by example.

u/Homologous_Trend 18h ago

Poor Scotland. They don't want her either.

Scotland is such a beautiful place full of some of the friendliest people I have ever met. Sadly, the only place this bitch does fit in is on American HOA boards.

3

u/TerminalVector 12h ago

Maybe its because so many of their absolute cunts moved here back in the day. If you think about it, people don't generally risk their lives and that of their progeny by moving halfway across the world for no reason. "Nobody here is willing to talk to me anymore" is probably one of the common ones 😂

u/tatteredmelon 17h ago

I mean, that IS how her creepy inbred ancestors wound up here.

u/Unfair_Newt_4872 17h ago edited 9h ago

As an English woman we don't want her try and see if the Welsh will take her??

Edit to add in no way was I trying to offend anyone from Wales I just thought it was funny because from what I could see Scotland, Ireland and England had already been mentioned in relation to taking this harpy, so I thought it'd be funny to go for the full house. My apologies.

u/Ymadawiad 17h ago

Leave us out of this.

10

u/-blundertaker- 16h ago

Aussies chime in.

14

u/capngump 16h ago

yeah nah she can fuck right off

6

u/LostAndLikingIt 16h ago

Canadian here. Sorry, we also dont want her.

9

u/Hi_Im_Dawn 15h ago

Give her to the ocean since no land seems to want her.

5

u/her_majesty_lives 15h ago

Benidorm possibly?

3

u/Child_of_the_Hamster 14h ago

And you certainly shouldn’t get too pushy with the Welsh. There’s a reason so many of the major castles in England are near the Welsh border, after all.

2

u/rickytann0 16h ago

And how would you know that?

5

u/rickytann0 17h ago

Maybe the English will take her.

9

u/unbridled_nonsense 17h ago

Nope, maybe ask Ireland?

5

u/ElBigKahuna 17h ago

Latvia it is!

2

u/elementarydrw 17h ago

Doesn't Latvia have the problem of having too many women?

3

u/seoulgleaux 17h ago

That demographic discrepancy only exists in the older population. Younger generations are pretty balanced.

1

u/ElBigKahuna 5h ago

Ages old so even better

43

u/shlomo_baggins 17h ago

Do you know whats even more fucked about this particular area? There are actual Missions peppered up and down the coastline, especially there. The town next to this place is called MISSION VIEJO. Can you guess what they're famous for?

5

u/joenottoast 16h ago

birria tacos?

5

u/EllspethCarthusian 14h ago

Yeah! My people were colonizing California before her white ass ancestors stepped foot on this soil! The border moved on them!

3

u/shlomo_baggins 9h ago

Noooo shit right? The fucking irony of living in southern California and saying "Go back to Mexico!".  Legitimately how I could tell shes a transplant not someone who grew up there.

2

u/EllspethCarthusian 9h ago

Total transplant. She didn’t learn about California history in fourth grade!

3

u/shlomo_baggins 9h ago

Hmm now I suspect you grew up there too! Cus thats exactly the grade we learned about it. Guess she missed the field trip to San Juan Mission >.>

3

u/EllspethCarthusian 9h ago

San Diego Mission for me. I did my report/diorama on San Juan though!

3

u/shlomo_baggins 8h ago

Dude, nice! I did a diorama on San Juan also. And the play....the horrible horrible play where my white ass was teamed up with 3 other Hispanic girls and I had to pretend to be Mexican...

1

u/EllspethCarthusian 8h ago

I recall learning how to do traditional Mexican dances and we got to wear the big skirts. Also square dancing.

-2

u/Idustriousraccoon 13h ago

…touching children??

70

u/cannibalscry2 18h ago

Nah nah , she can stay there we dont want want ugly things in our pretty highlands.

74

u/Far_Chocolate9743 17h ago

I like the ones who are racist and then tell you their family came through Ellis Island in the 1900s.

Like...wait, my great, great grandmother was here in the 1700s. Why do I have to go back to where I 'came' from but you totally belong here?

We basically kicked them out after they tried to forbid others from practicing their religion. They literally banned Christmas. America started as a refuge for extremists and control freaks. What else do you expect?

In 1647, the Puritan-led English Parliament banned the celebration of Christmas. Protests followed, and pro-Christmas riots broke out in several cities. For weeks, Canterbury was effectively controlled by the pro-Christmas rioters, who decorated the city with holly.
The Puritans later fled to the Netherlands, but even there, they were confronted with religious freedom, and feared that their children might become Dutch and “drawn away by evil examples into extravagance and dangerous courses.” They therefore decided to try their luck in the New World.
In 1659, the Massachusetts Bay Colony enacted a law called Penalty for Keeping Christmas: “Festivals as were superstitiously kept in other countries are a great dishonor of God and offence of others. Anyone found celebrating Christmas by failing to work, feasting, or any other way shall pay for every such offence five shillings.”
Non-Puritans in New England lamented the loss of the holiday traditions enjoyed by the working classes in England. The Puritan ban was revoked in 1681 by the English-appointed governor Edmund Andros. Nevertheless, it was not until the mid-19th century that Christmas celebrations became fashionable in the Boston area. Before the Declaration of Independence in 1776, Christmas was not widely celebrated in the American colonies.

My favorite part is that I was taught that our origin of "seeking refuge from persecution" meant that we we somehow better than everyone else and it was beginning of America Being The Best No Exceptions America Is The Best.

Now I just roll my eyes and think "wow, some attitudes really don't fade..."

7

u/Pulse99 10h ago

Yeah they taught us that too. Never explained why they had to leave England, just that they were “persecuted”- turns out it was for being the biggest whiniest loudest bitches about everything since the dark ages.

Kind of funny that nowadays in America yelling about the “war on Christmas” has become an annual tradition.

1

u/BeeSpibbleBlop 7h ago

To follow-on to the ideas expressed above, the irony then became that we somewhat gave Christmas back to them. Washington Irving specifically. He wrote a story called Bracebridge Hall talking about Old Christmas. I forgot the particulars. Basically followed a group of Holiday goers traveling into the country to a hall to celebrate old Christmas traditions. Dickens was here in the Americas and took back the idea and ethos to help with A Christmas Carol.

Book: The Battle for Christmas

u/Joinedtoaskagain 17h ago

tbh... yeah that checks out.

7

u/TaftForPresident 15h ago

To be fair, that was like one colony. The rest of us were Anglicans, Catholics, and Quakers.

7

u/Key-Performance-9021 15h ago

You're right. What's still really interesting to me, is how different these groups look today. American practice tends to be way more strict, compared to Europe.

As a Catholic myself, the contrast is pretty stark. European Catholicism was baked into every corner of society for centuries, so it feels a lot more relaxed and culturally absorbed. American Catholicism, on the other hand, operates in a much more scripture-focused environment, like actually reading the Bible, regularly attending mass, and holding a much stronger personal identity as a Christian.

5

u/TaftForPresident 15h ago

Absolutely true yet there are major social distinctions between parts of the United States. For example, the Lutheran synods in the East are quite liberal for Christians and usually resemble modern Anglicans or Episcopalians. But out West they have the Missouri synod which is far more fundamentalist.

On the whole, though, the cultural separation from larger authorities and focusing on personal relationships with God grew dramatically across the country largely due geography. The Pope and the king were quite far away, after all!

2

u/Alarming_Panic665 12h ago

Well Catholicism in the US was heavily discriminated against until like the late 20th century (it was a massive deal that JFK became President in the 60s). This meant politically (and culturally) the US was heavily divorced from the Papacy. So Catholicism isn't really baked into the society (instead Protestantism takes that place).

So American Catholics only really identify as such because they are serious about the religious aspect rather then because of a cultural or traditional reason.

u/Excellent_Airline315 10h ago

I was thought the second half about the Dutch in high school, they completely left out the fact that they were the problem.

1

u/Expensive_Law_3180 6h ago

Fucking John Pym and his purtianical lunacy. They basically wanted to go elsewhere so they could suck the happiness out of the world in peace. Sweet Jesus.

10

u/m0mbi 18h ago

I would've said Donegal, but their housing crisis has hovels starting at 100K and I'm not confident she could afford it.

Not so fast. Is the rent cheap?

2

If Scotland would take me I’d be there now.

2

u/Ill_Responsibility49 14h ago

They're your problem now.

No take-backsies.

10

u/Nomofo79 18h ago

35

u/dadRabbit 18h ago

There are hovels all over the world.

14

u/IncomingAxofKindness 18h ago

The right wing in a certain non-European country likes to push the idea that the UK is some sort of crumbling dilapidated backwater. Like most things pushed by the right wing in that non-European country, it’s not true. But it’s seeped into the mainstream and that’s sad.

Edit: the upvote swings and ratio on this comment are wild

8

u/Desperate_Wallaby966 17h ago

Wtf? Nobody is saying that at all, you just really jumped right off the deep end with that one. If someone says they saw a homeless person living on the street in a city do you immediately assume that everyone in that city is homeless living on the street too? Just because one way of living exists somewhere has absolutely nothing to do with and does not exclude an entire range of other options as well.

1

u/joenottoast 16h ago

wait are you saying things you read about countries on reddit may not be true? does that apply to all countries, or just all of them except america?

0

u/Nomofo79 16h ago

Yes, believe it or not even what you read online about America isn’t necessarily true. That should be obvious given that depending on where you get your news, you’ll get completely opposite pictures of the state the USA is in.

-5

u/Yorkshireish12 17h ago

I know you want to take pride in your country but most places outside London are that, it came free with the decades of Landlordism and regional sabotage by Thatcherites.

-2

u/Emeraldbutt 18h ago

Sir, have you been there?

1

u/Ok_Cardiologist_3675 15h ago

European Americans

1

u/AJYoungGun2326 14h ago

Whoa, casual slap in the face for Scotland! We don't want her!

1

u/Brock_Lobstweiler 12h ago

I’m  Not a racist asshole telling people to Leave the country, but can I get that address for the Scottish hovel? My ancestors on my  Mom’s  side came from Scotland and England in the 1600s and I’d love to live there.

1

u/Ordinary_Fix3199 9h ago

Thank you for the belly laugh

1

u/-Yer-Maw- 8h ago

This whore aint from here!

1

u/Top-Bandicoot-3013 8h ago

Exactly. Europeans living in the us aren't even from here. They just have one or two generations up on the newest immigrants. Give me a break.

1

u/sesentaydos 1h ago

Beautifully said

1

u/Ardal 59m ago

Lol, stop trying to disown your own scum.

-3

u/DarthKittens 16h ago

Why the Scottish highlands? Is that the dregs of Western Europe? You are one tiny step away from being her.

4

u/Onyournrvs 16h ago

The person you're responding to said that the woman (and her ilk) are the dregs of Western Europe.

-1

u/DarthKittens 16h ago

Yes, I understand that. I get the point they were trying to make. However this sounds disrespectful to anyone from the Scottish Highlands and any immigrants from Western Europe in America by calling them dregs. As I said - one small step away from the anti immigrant attitude of this odious woman.

0

u/rainshowers_5_peace 13h ago

I would gladly go back to Ireland, Scotland or Austria if they'd have me back. After nursing school they might take me with more open of arms.

0

u/Snicklefritz39 10h ago

You do understand that literally everyone in the Americas are basically of European dissent right?

-3

u/NoFewSatan 16h ago

This woman is American.
