Any television show characters with Poochie Syndrome
I recently rewatched The Simpsons Season 8, Episode 14, where the whole joke is about how struggling shows will often introduce a ācoolā new character in an attempt to boost ratings, only for the character to end up being absolutely awful. The Simpsons creators even added Roy as a parody of this trope. Heās basically the textbook example: a cool, trendy teenager who is suddenly inserted into the cast for no real reason. The only real example I could think of where this actually happened was Scrappy-Doo from Scooby-Doo. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this happen in television, because Iād love to hear some other good examples of shows adding a ācoolā new character that completely backfired.

Unlikeable Character That Moved You To Tears
A recent post made me think of Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead and how I cried like a newborn when he finally found his brother who was a racist and misogynistic ho and yet the scene played out so GD poignantly that I actually felt sorry for the zombie. Like really effing sad. What was the moment you found yourself sympathetic to a contemptible person?

Disney+ Playlists are Very User-Unfriendly, Disney+ Robot Moderator Programmed to Shut Down Criticism
I clicked on the Treehouse of Horror Playlist and expected to be able to scroll to whichever one. Instead I was randomly met with Treehouse of Horror 23 and upon skipping to the next was met with Treehouse of Horror 31. I could not access the actual list whatsoever.
Unless you're wanting a randomized experience where everything is a surprise, just pick through the seasons. Absolutely do not recommend the Playlist Feature, at least not for singular shows.
Originally posted this to Disney+ Reddit. However it was taken down immediately upon posting. Considering how they traditionally handle criticism on their own platforms, I probably shouldn't be surprised. Still annoying. I couldn't find a more appropriate place to send this. I just want people to be able to see this non-recommendation.

Modern biographical political dramas.
Just bouncing a message on here to see if there are any fellow brother/sister seamus' who are doing some light historical viewing ahead of the mid-terms.
There really isn't anything like a good political biographical drama.
Begun with Nuremberg with Russel Crowe (yes, it's a film, I know). Then, The Loudest Voice (also with Crowe, as Roger Ailes). If you haven't seen it, you simply must. Crowe is great and nails it. It shows how FOX had a massive hand in the elections and their hand in the whole charade.
Today alone though (bed ridden with a sore back) I've watched a really interesting mini series with Jeff Daniels and Brendan Gleeson called The Comey Rule. Again, imperical viewing. I never saw this and Jesus H, what a serial. šš»
Anyone have any others to recommend?
Saw the Looming Tower of course.

Which comedy TV seriesā had the most consistent quality from the first season to the last?
Which comedy TV show/shows had the most consistent quality from their very first season to their very last season?
Usually I hear about comedy shows that were REALLY good, the quality either goes down slowly or completely plummets in one season so Iām curious to know if there were any that were still as good when they ended as they started.

The Gentleman Season 2 is a lot better than Season 1
The Gentleman Season 2 is literally the best TV Iāve seen this year. EPISODE 7 was literally perfect.
It took me longer to get into Season 1 but season 2 was actually so good. I remember I actually stopped after a few episodes when season 1 came out but recently tried to rewatch and Iām so glad I did. I feel like none of my friends is watching it and donāt hear enough about season 2 being so good. I just finished it and wow.
