PART ONE: Is Someone Collecting This Hair Behind My Mattress for Witchcraft?:
One woman's narrow escape from communicable disease in Sudbury's taint
Folks!!!!! Like two absolute plebs, we accidentally moved ourselves to ANOTHER Wyndham property last night.
And somehow we got a full repeat of yesterday.
This time: TWO comforters with what appears to be blood on them, along with black marks that look like tire marks or burns.
And a pack of cock rings in a pear tree 🎶🤗
Well, in the dresser. Where I prefer to store my snacks while in a hotel.
Not these kinds of snacks, tho 😭
And this time, I recorded the interaction from beginning to end.
When we reported the condition of the room, there was no apology. No apparent concern. No “I'm so sorry, let me fix this.”
Instead, Andrea demanded pictures and told us that she personally checked the room.
We were standing at the front desk asking for clean bedding because TWO comforters in our room appeared to have blood on them, and rather than expressing any remorse that guests had encountered this, her immediate response was essentially to challenge what we were reporting.
We showed her the pictures, still no apology.
We asked when we could expect clean comforters. Andrea stated it was not possible, however she would provide a different room.
She failed to provide any timeframe, and demanded that we return to the room with the blood-stained bedding.
And just.....wait.
After some time in the bloody room with no communication from anyone, we came to our senses and returned to the front desk, requesting either management contact information, or a refund.
Instead of providing either, and without asking us to leave the premesis, Andrea CALLED THE POLICE to have us removed from the hotel.
The events:
-We reported apparent blood-contaminated bedding.
-We provided the photographs she demanded.
-We asked for clean bedding.
-It was demanded that we return to the bloody room and wait an undetermined amount of time for a "new room"
-We asked for management or a refund.
-The police were called on us.
Within approximately 24 hours, we have now had serious problems at two Wyndham properties, and we have received no refunds.
At this point, I desperately want to know whether anything was placed on our Wyndham guest profile following yesterday's complaints and reviews, whether this property could see it, and whether anyone at this hotel had information about us before we arrived. I am certain this is the case.
Fortunately, there won't be much disagreement about what was actually said at the front desk as the entire interaction is recorded from beginning to end.
If calling the police was intended to discourage me from documenting or reporting what happened, it accomplished precisely the opposite. Filthy animals.
Every photograph, recording, receipt and interaction is being preserved, and the condition of the room is being reported to Public Health, and all overseeing Gov't entities.
Apparently asking for a comforter without someone else's blood on it was where Andrea/customer service drew the line.
What an absolutely bizarre hill to die on.
I called the after-hours public health line from the room. Any other suggestions?
