I disagree, that sounds like a rude way of saying no, realistically. If she really did mean that and you kept trying, one angel shot later and she's gone and you're banned from the bar. As the other guy said, really too much to risk, especially over bs childish games like that.

Not to mention you dodged a bullet anyway. Imagine dealing with that the whole time you were dating.

That you can't read the room...I mean, maybe in general but just for this instance, there wasn't any reading that situation in the way she intented.

No I mean I literally am bad at understanding things. It’s probably better to just assume they aren’t interested and leave them alone than risk it.

You read the room perfectly though. Either she's not interested or she's playing stupid games. In both scenarios it is not you being bad at reading the room, it's her choice and you made the right move in all situations.
