Figures/Statues Hot Toys Cloaking/De-Cloaking Feral Predator Revealed!
He looks awesome-especially under the UV lights! But I passed on the battle-damaged Feral, so I probably will pass on this one, too. I already have the original Hot Toys Feral, but we'll see.

Books/Comics What's a visually better comic Yautja crossover than the Batman Vs Predator series?
Revisited the series and in particular, the first volume pissed me off aesthetically and storyboard wise. In some panels, I get the grit, like the art style, but it's genuinely hard to tell what the fuck is going on sometimes in the action panels. As a young teen I didn't notice it as much, but the fluidity just isn't there on a lot of the sequences for me as an adult.
Whilst you get the gist of what is happening, you're left thinking - Surely there was a better way to display that to the reader?
In the first image, Predator smashes through a window, and somehow people are behind him, despite the dude with the eye patch diving for cover in the prior panel it shares a page with.
Then in the second two examples, it just seems like a really lackadaisical way of drawing and sequencing this event. Batman throws a nut towards the electromagnet to draw the Predator under it, he succeeds and drops a shit load of scrap onto him, he starts advancing in the Predators direction with a fuck off wrench. He gets wounded by the plasmacaster, turns around for some reason from the direction he was shot? the predator is revealed to see him in the panel after pushing up scrap metal? THEN says, SEE YOU before grabbing his cape?
Anyway, are there any other comic crossovers that you can recommend based on my critiques?

General Discussion Any love for the four-armed Predator from Predators: Surviving Life?
Personally, I would love a sequel to Predators. There was an interview back in 2020 about potential storylines, but when I saw the mutated Yautja from the prequel comic it made me wonder whether we'd see something like this in the movies, too.

Figures/Statues To Open, Or Not To Open?
I snagged one of my grails from a local comic shop today (yeah!), and the title sums up my situation. I'm not crazy about resell value, but with how rare and sometimes expensive this fig can be I'm apprehensive about opening.
Opening it of course gives me an opportunity to pose and display him, and also fix the lightning gimmick's batteries.
I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts, bonus points if you own the fig yourself. Thanks everyone!

General Discussion Which dynasty of Chinese history would be an interesting for a predator story?
I think ever since the sword segment in killer of killers.
People have been brainstorming and thinking of other time period in not just Japan, but also East Asia for a predator story.
For me, I can imagine two Eras that would be a very interesting time for a predator
The FALL OF THE SONG DYNASTY:
basically predator versus Chinese and Mongolian warriors.
This was a very, very troubling time in Chinese history.
For a time in the song Dynasty, the emperor was just a baby that is barely 2 years old.
And then came the grandsons of Genghis Khan, that help overthrow the dynasty and established their own
Now imagine how interesting would be if a predator got involved.
It’s not just an medieval Chinese warrior
But also a but also a Mongolian warrior.
THE QING Dynasty:
This one is more I would say straightforward.
Basically, what if a predator got involved in the movie crouching Tiger, hidden Dragon.
Like similar to how the first two films were an action movie that had a monster appearing in the middle of it.
This one would be a straightforward Wuxia action movie that suddenly has a predator.

Brain Storming Infinite Alien Horde?!? 🤔
The Kalisk has extremely high regeneration abilities that make it virtually impossible to kill. Soooo, couldn’t Weyland Corporation use just one to breed an infinite indestructible Alien horde?
Also, if the Aliens take on characteristics of their host, then isn’t it reasonable to think they would not only gain the size & strength of the Kalisk but also the regeneration abilities?

General Discussion My favorites yautja
Mr. Black is my favorite Yautja because I love his reptilian look and his warm colors, and Wolf with his missing mandible on his face, demonstrating that he is a seasoned fighter with years of experience.

Collection My 1/6 scale Predator figures so far
I just started collecting in July and have been lucky finding these three brand new 🙌🏼 I have some more pre ordered and others I am looking at to add. Also I am amazed at their size! I put them next to my 12 inch tall human characters; and they are massively larger!

🎥 Predator: Badlands Badlands needs new oversight
We are running the risk of the sequel fatigue trap that has killed dozens of major franchises. A 5-year gap is historically the danger zone where an audience's hyper-focus cools down into casual indifference, or worse, the original creative spark gets lost.
If Disney waits until 2028 or later to get Trachtenberg back behind the camera for Badlands, they will almost assuredly drop the ball on any momentum the IP has at the moment. With Badlands finding a massive audience on streaming right now, the iron is as hot as it will ever get. Tons of people opted to wait on Badlands because they simply don't trust major studios anymore. Badlands popped off on streaming. Now forcing this guy to sit on a winning formula while chasing a damaged Disney brand with these other nonsensical projects (looking at you Snow White that nobody asked for BTW) is a textbook example of corporate mismanagement. We gotta get someone on this IP that understands how important it is to follow up on Badlands with something as good or better.

Funny/Meme End of the Line: A Handshake Story
NOW: “Granddad! You son of a bitch!” In the afterlife, I find my grandfather and dap him up, Predator-style.
ONE WEEK AGO: I was on a train ride with my grandfather. He was a peaceful, frail older gentleman. I was conflict-averse.
“Got anything good to watch on that there tablet, grandson?” He smiled at me.
“Why sure, granddad. How about Predator?”
“1987. A great year! Let’s have the Arnie classic, shall we?”
Fools. We were fools not to consider the power, the sheer, uncut masculinity we were about to unleash with one simple scene.
When we got to the handshake, it was too late. Faintly, in the farthest recesses of my mind, I could hear the Doom music kicking in.
I saw his hand a fraction of a second too late. Grandad slapped me with what felt like 1/16 kilotons of force. The train car's windows exploded. I tasted blood. Spat out a tooth. What speed! What strength! This would be a fight for the ages.
I yoked him up, and chucked him like a sack of potatoes. As you might expect, he ran at me full speed.
Bull, meet bull.
In a blazing, testosterone-fueled fury, we wrecked the inside of the train car. Naturally, we needed more space. We fought our way to the top of the moving train. We were on a high mountain pass, nothing but river and rocks and death below us.
As I threw a straight kick, he dodged and went for a sweep. I flipped, dodging him. I landed without losing my balance. I was feeling myself now. I'd downloaded his moveset. The old man zigged, zagged, and I countered every punch he tried to land.
My pockets felt heavy, but I was bloodthirsty. Ain’t nobody got time for mysteriously weighted pockets.
An opening. I headbutted him. Broke his nose. He was stunned, but not down.
“Finish it!” Norman screamed in my mind. No mercy. My father’s father stood up. I charged, and dropkicked him off the train.
As my grandfather fell to a certain death, he grinned, and flipped me off with both hands, grenade pins on his middle fingers. "Sympathetic detonation, punk!"
I looked at my feet. Fresh, unpinned grenades. I shoved my hands in my pockets. Pinned grenades.
Sympathetic detonation, indeed. "Granddad, you son of a--"
