I will never keep any 30th product sealed (sorry not sorry)

Still a work in progress. Can’t wait to get my hands on the 30th Anniversary Mews. It’s getting difficult to find singles I don’t already have at my local shows.

Also I never expected NOT TO miss having regular and reverse foil variants of every card. That way each card feels unique in the master set. They should go for foil only and 5 cards per pack moving forward!

Also loved SIR increased pull rates while having some insane hidden easter egg cards so people going for the regular set can fill the binder without selling a kidney, and some people can get extremely lucky a pull a chase 10x the price of a normal SIR.

I was big into collecting as a kid in the 90s. Saw the 30th anniversary set and decided to get back into it. Today’s booster pulls.

Woke up at 3am on Friday and was one of the last people in line at Target to get pretty much everything they had. Then got lucky with rainy weather making the Best Buy line a bit shorter and picked up the rest there. Held all of it this weekend for my birthday today!

Throwaway cards at one point in time! Finally got a chance to pull all the cool cards out and put them into a binder. I have the good stuff in other binders... but what a trip down memory lane for cards that at one time I almost put near the dumpster as bulk! 20 more pages as well but image limit...

I bought a tin and opened this beautiful pikachu ex. I love the art and the details are insane. I got lucky ngl. What yall think about this card?

I set aside an allowance of 100$ for this anniversary set, really hoping to pull my chase card of salamence ex the fair way, but well, not how it goes. Still pretty cool I got what I got.

It really sucks how pricing changed the thrill of the game. These IR’s are genuinely beautiful, amazing set by celebrations. But deep down, was hoping I could pull a big hit.

Can’t wait to someday be working and can hopefully manage this hobby more.

2 years ago I taped this full art card to a window, and let the sun bleach it. Imo, it turned out pretty well, and I wish I would have taped more than one. I picked this one because the sun fades the red and orange shades the best. I don't have a before photo, but assume the card looked normal before lol. How do you all think it turned out?

So today i FINALLY got my hands on a 30th anniversary set product which ive been craving to get. Was only able to get this Greninja EX box at my local toy store, even tho i REALLY wanted to get the ETB or Binder collection but out of stock... Bought this box for $54 tho… Didnt get it for msrp as i was planning on but oh well! Anyways came back home and unboxed it and got these pulls! Really happy i got the Shinji Kanda Pika and the lonely one is cute too :) Got the awesome Galarian Meowth which was my chase IR! And ofc the 2 Eevloution ex’s, got Umbreon which is my favorite Pokemon. So hey not bad, hopefully ill get another product soon! Wishing you guys amazing pack openings!

First time messing with Pokemon TCG since I was a kid. Took me about 13 packs before a hit.

I was cleaning through my attic and found my older brothers binder of pokemon cards from the mid to late 1990’s (I believe). Not sure if there’s anything particularly interesting in here, but they seem to be in pretty good condition.

I personally don’t really know much about pokemon card trading/collecting, but maybe theres something cool in here that y’all would appreciate :)

I originally had my cards arranged in #1-151 Pokédex order, all mixed and matched. When I finally broke them down into Base, Jungle and Fossil, I realized I was missing quite a few cards, thankfully mostly Trainers and such. I had all the holos and other heavy hitters.

Some notes:
I had a few random Base Set 2 cards so I added these to shadow/piggyback their OG counterparts. Really had nowhere else to put them. I think it adds to the holo awesomeness!

Obviously Mew isn’t part of any of the original sets so I added a trio of Mew at the end of Base as a bridge towards Jungle.

Will post Jungle and Fossil separately. A lot of fun all around!

Anybody else not getting any hits from 30th Celebration or is it just me? I’ve opened 3 ETBs and haven’t pulled and SIR. Just keep pulling the same legendary birds over and over again.

I was hanging around at a card show tonight and I purchased my final chase for my collection, for now, the Mega Darkrai abyss eye SIR, I was so gleeful. The seller and buyers around cheered for me as I showed my completed master set, the seller even gave me an extra slowpoke stamped card to really round the collection out.

Well what happened was that another buyer said next to me after the seller gave me the promo, "We're rewarding this? Must have been so easy when your collection is worth around 100$ and is mostly stolen foreign goods". The seller told him to fuck off and I mostly shrugged it off. Idk after that I feel like my collection is less respectable or cool.

I still think it's dope, it's my favorite binder in the world but idk what do you guys think? Did he have a point?

Random visit to target. Only was able to grab 2 Boxes of 30th Poster Collection - 6 total packs opened. These were the best ones. The Magikarp is insanely overwhelming to look at! Happy ripping you guys!

Got in line at 4AM at my local Target to catch the restock/booster bundle release on Friday. Definitely got better pulls this time around.

Annihilape is one of my favorite Pokemon and needs a SIR or IR card. Of course I have the full art from Paldea Evolved but thats just an ultra rare and it’s pretty basic.

Is this Charizard worth sending in?

I wanted a more productive hobby and decided on making 3D cards. Its pretty rough looking, but I think I did a good job? I definitely learned a lot while working on it over the weekend. And very excited to do more.

If anyone has any critiques or tips, I will happily take them!

Side note. The uneven tops comes from having to use Magic cards as filler and I didnt feel like cropping them all. I never played the Pokémon TCG so I had no extra around and forgot to buy some.
