Sources: New Orleans Pelicans are disappointing the market in informing teams that Zion Williamson, Trey Murphy, Herb Jones, Derik Queen and Jeremiah Fears will remain with the organization past Feb. 5 trade deadline.

Feels good to see a division rival LOSE in such glorious fashion even with the refs helping them every step of the way.

Forget trading away the pick and never even asking for protections. They spent the year almost never interacting with staff, doing literally zero interviews with media, then fired people over email.

Why do you all defend that?

Only one worthwhile seems to be the light up fan chain and all the rest seem to be ass and that’s assuming the fan chain is made out of metal and not plastic. Glad I had the presence of mind to do a no call/no show last year and quit my job at the shitty ice cream shop in the French Quarter to go to the St. Patty’s Day ☘️ game last season and got the awesome fan chain they gave away. Why doesn’t this team have better promo nights? It seems like the Pels just shit in their hands and clap and call that a promo night.

LETS GO

Add up all the individual digits, and you get 9.

Rondo.

Dallas Wings did this kind of thing for weeks teasing Azzi Fudd as the #1 pick.

“Yet as far as front-office gigs go, (Dumars’) appears only slightly more demanding than Kawhi Leonard’s endorsement contract with Aspiration.

Instead, Dumars seems to have outsourced nearly the entire job to former Detroit Pistons exec Troy Weaver. The only notable New Orleans move that appeared to have Dumars’ imprint was Saturday’s firing of coach Willie Green.

In particular, Dumars bringing in Weaver and handing him the general manager job has left rival executives utterly baffled. The Pistons went 74-244 in Weaver’s four years at the helm in Detroit, and while there were some factors beyond his control, there wasn’t exactly a bidding war to get him back at the helm of a franchise. Sources in Detroit say nobody from New Orleans called to vet Weaver before he was hired.”

The front office truly astounds me every single day.

Especially if the expansion teams are Vegas and Seattle

Long story short: Pelicans are reportedly pursuing a Ja/KCP for Poole/DJM trade.

Grizzlies want draft picks and Pels are refusing to attach them.
