man. seeing these two together again, especially on this final broadcast for T. Hut, made me so. bleeping. happy.

when I saw the news before the season that this would be Tommy’s last, I said it was my hope that somehow, some way, we’d be able to get one more game with this broadcast team. while we didn’t get that, this surprise visit from Rich today was one hell of a consolation prize.

thank you, Tommy! and thank you, Rich! you guys are the absolute best.

(Kyle did an amazing job trying to articulate just what these two have meant to Marlins fans, as did Jeremy Tache when he worked his last game of the season a month or so ago. thank you guys, too!)

but I really, really do hope that Rich + Tommy know how much they meant to us fans and how much we appreciate them. I spent my formative years watching games every night listening to these two gentlemen, and I couldn’t have asked for a better broadcast team to grow up with.

I read an older post that said no BP on Sundays

Bringing my son for his 8th birthday, we're from Texas

Wondering about BP, running the bases, etc ? Anything else we should do? Planning on getting there 90 mins before first pitch

I honestly think it would be unique for just one game.

33% funded already! Help us reach the goal 📕🐟

So I made a mistake and bought extra Braves v. Marlins tickets for today (sept. 27 loan depot park) thinking i could get a refund on some of them. Now I’mm trying to sell them since i know i won’t be using them. Please let me know if you’re interested. I have 2 in section 25 row 1, and 2 others in section 208 row 1 (padded seats). I willing to sell them for a good price just trying to recover some of my money.

This year the Marlins leaned more into teal and old school Marlins apparel. It seemed to be universally loved and I saw folks disproportionally wearing new teal jerseys, not the current Marlins brand.

I'm curious the revenue numbers of current logo merch with old school merch this season. I'd imagine the old school stuff is blowing the current brand out of the water. If that's true I wonder if we could see a total old logo rebrand. It would be universally celebrated, and they could make a boat load of cash.

I love the Hawk but hopefully we get a more expansive collection of available Teal apparel too.

Question for the fan base, do you guys think we would've punched our ticket to the postseason if we had a healthy Max Meyer?

So this was my first time truly following through Marlins for a full season. I started watching Baseball more then when it was on 3 years ago. I picked my team as the Marlins 2 years ago and watched a couple games. Last year was the first time I subbed here and followed a team throughout the season albeit lightly.

This was the first time that I truly paid attention and watched 90% of the games of a team playing baseball. I am not from Florida, I have not been a baseball fan or kid (played hockey growing up). But this is the most fun I have ever had watching and following any sports team. I've enjoyed being here discussing games with you, the players. The great times of June and the bad times of July. I've loved seeing the regulars post; the whiners, the optimists and the cynics.

I've loved seeing the whacky shit that only the Marlins can pull off. From throwing Sandy and Eury out in relief. To stealing bases. Inside the park home runs, Joe Macks call up, Sanoja's appointment of greatest player of all time and so much more. It's been fun being here for all of it with you and making me feel welcome as well.

I look forward to being with you all here next year.

Go Fish! And remember.

I am a Max Meyer believer, Always have been and Always will be!
