I just rewatched this movie, and i saw it in theaters and i dont think i stayed for the post credit scene, i've seen the post credit scene but i assumed it was from another movie or something.

This was such a weird combo that i just saw, the movie ended, its played like a nice little happy ending, just walking around town, and then its revealed that he got the 3rd eye and hes screaming in pain or whatever, and its somewhat of a cliffhanger as the movie ends on Dr Strange having his 3rd eye on his head and him screaming.

Then, the exact same thing happens in the post credit scene? He is walking around all happy and then Clea appears and tells him he caused an incursion and he decides to help, and his 3rd eye just appears again.

Why play the movie as this big cliffhanger of like ''omg he got a 3rd eye and hes screaming in pain'' and then like entirely kill that idea? Feels like these are the 2 endings they were deciding on, and they just put one of them as the post credits scene and its super weird

This is a question that's been bugging me since 2019, and I figure with Encore in theaters, now is as good a time as any to ask the internet.

Did they change War Machine/Iron Patriot's coloring after release?

I saw Endgame twice in theaters. First upon release, and then second sometime later with a friend.

In my first viewing, the final battle featured Rhodey's new armor in the classic War Machine colors. When I went back the second time, the armor was colored like Iron Patriot (and this is the version that exists on home media).

I remember being shocked when I was sitting in the theater for my second viewing, as War Machine is one of my favorite characters, so I didn't just misremember. In fact, there WAS a pre-release version of the scene with the classic colors, as featured in a TV spot (pictured (also this is a TV spot I never saw and found out about it after the fact)).

Did anybody else experience this after seeing Endgame upon release? I know Marvel has retroactively changed their films during their initial release window on different occasions, so it isn't unprecedented. Just hoping for some validation that this DID exist at one point.

TL;DR: Pretty convinced Marvel changed the color on War Machine while Endgame was still in theaters.

Wanted to share my Namor Cosplay. I love the MCU version of the character and I've wanted to Cosplay him for a while now. I was finally able to do so today at a convention. ​Of course I found a Sue 🤣

Definitely in character for them, ecspecially during their first few years as a team. As said by Star-Lord in Infinity War, “not winging it isn’t really what they do.”

I just wonder how after so many close calls with dying in space without a suit or helmet, and after an actual death like Yondu’s would the Guardians not be more prepared for situations like this by the time we get to the third movie.

James Gunn said that the canonical reason Star-Lord doesn’t wear his helmet at all in Vol. 3 is because they were in such a state of panic and emergency that he simply forgot it on Knowhere.

But Yondu’s death must have been pretty traumatic. Shouldn’t they have planned ahead so that a similar situation in the future could be avoided? I feel like they would at least have multiple spare helmets stored in specific areas of the ship that were easily accessible in an emergency.

The holographic spacesuits from Vol.2 were pretty useful too. They were essentially a patch that could summon a spacesuit around them with the press of a button. I would imagine they could have taken that technology and integrated it into their uniforms so they’d have a spacesuit available at all times.

Especially by Vol.3, they’re now highly regarded and dependable heroes throughout the galaxy. You’d think they’d have learned from their previous close calls and invested in some basic emergency equipment for situations exactly like this.

I always felt like Namor’s role in Doomsday has been pretty ambiguous and has been kept a mystery. He formed an alliance with Shuri, but we know that villainous side of Namor and he’s someone who can easily turn sides if it best benefits them.

From the “special look” trailer, he’s clearly standing alongside Shuri, M’Baku, US Agent and Shang-Chi as an ally. Intrested to see how this plays out.

I’m sorry but I feel like marvel needs to retcon secret invasion or at least retcon some parts of it. Lets start with that G’iah girl who somehow has the powers of every hero and the whole Rhodey situation. Its crazy how they gave him the worst arc in a show that has no contribution to the MCU and also a show that basically nobody watched. Also; killing off Maria like that was terrible.

$18M ($13.5M OS / $4.5M DOM) 2nd weekend for Avengers Endgame: Encore. That pushes its re-release total to $126M, lifting Avengers: Endgame's worldwide gross to $2.926B* - surpassing Avatar ($2.924B) to reclaim its crown as the highest-grossing film of all time.

An early 250-page draft of Avengers: Infinity War was structured as a nonlinear story narrated by Thanos, with backstories and introductory sequences for the members of the Black Order.

The Russo brothers ultimately abandoned this version because it was too dense, but they said writing Thanos's narration helped them understand his motivations and character, which they then incorporated into the final film as subtext.

The cast is incredible, the story is bananas, and the visuals are actually scary.

Season 1 was a crazy mind blast of confusion and horror, and a rewatch during spooky season seems most appropriate.

Shoutout to Noah Hawley, Aubrey Plaza, and Dan Stevens for knocking it out of the park.

The scene near the end where Tony is helping Rhodey test the leg braces has become one of my favorite parts of Civil War.

Rhodey brings up the combat missions he's flown, then says getting injured hasn't changed his mind about signing. He's struggling to walk and Tony is right there looking miserable, but Rhodey still wants to explain why he made that choice. I dont read it as him just trying to make his friend feel better.

Tony spends so much of this movie reacting to guilt, fear and eventually anger. Rhodey has a seperate reason for supporting oversight, and it fits the career he's had before any of this happened.

I'm usually on Steve's side when watching, so I like having someone on the other side whose position I can understand without agreeing with it. Rhodey doesn't get much space in the movie, but that conversation gives me more to work with than some of the actual arguments around the table.

Also, Tony sitting down on the floor beside him is such a good little moment between those two.
