IF YOU ARE A CANDIDATE and would like us to host an AMA, you must provide PROOF of ID (proof of identification tells our community you’re actually you— and not someone else pretending to be you!). Please [ contact the mods ] of this sub to have us set up an AMA thread for you. Please read our AMA requirements, how-to, etc → [ HERE ]
AMAs are a core part of Reddit culture. They are in essence, text-based Q-&-A interviews from the London, Ontario reddit community. The appeal of AMAs is it gives London, ON redditors the opportunity to interact with candidates in their municipality (of whom we might not otherwise have a chance to meet in person). In addition, there is an expectation of candour and substance in AMA exchanges.
.
CANDIDATE MEET-&-GREET Q & A, DEBATES, etc
Candidate "meet & greets," debates, & other meetings are usually organized by local community groups or business associations.
The Urban League of London in collaboration with RogersTV will be hosting all candidate meetings for each of the city’s 14 wards to help keep Londoners informed. Meetings will take place between Sept. 9 and Oct. 1.
Below are the video links for each debate:

Arriving shortly after 8:00 a.m. this morning, joined the lineup to register. Family felt it was a good idea for an xray after a fall on my ribs. Specifically to rule out damage to the liver. Anyway, registered, was seen to have blood pressure and questions, sat for 2 minutes, ushered to a room by a nurse that introduced herself, helped me prepare for the xray, walked down the hall, back 5 minutes later to wait while they were read and the Dr. could see me. Results were what was expected, released with instructions and back home at 10:10 a.m.
This team at St. Joe's have their ducks in a row. Efficient beyond belief in these times of wait and wait and wait some more. Fabulously polite and open for a repeat visit should I feel it necessary.
Wouldn't hesitate to go again. The lineup was very long as I left so I suppose arriving with the initial visitors to Urgent Care at opening time (8:00 am) on Sunday was the best strategy.
Thank you St. Joe's Urgent Care!!!!

I sincerely ask because in his presentation he seems to be a Sasha Baron Cohen/Tom Green type of personality and I can't tell if he's legit or playing a bit?

This is 2 separate Sundays in the area of aldersbrooke and Lawson road. Unacceptable to drive into trees and postal boxes in perfectly beautiful days. Stop means stop. The Rav in the photo was from 2 hrs ago...thats a 4 way stop...clearly poor driving habits or distractions caused this. Do better london!!! Everywhere!!!!!

I'm assuming its temporary. Didn't have time to drive down and look. Nothing came up on Google. Bonus pics from camping over the weekend

I’m new to London and just graduated uni. Where can I find outdoorsy people at? Any clubs or groups for outdoor-related hobbies?

Thinking of planning a night out for a group of sports moms as a mom team building, essentially. Can be a bar or similar. We are all late 30s-late 40s, but also one grandma.
I can think of tilt, what else?

Just curious if there are any hikes in the area that aren't just the bike path, lmao. I don't have a car, so ideally within the city itself for bussing reasons, but I don't mind making a little trip out of London if it's worth it :))

Hello everyone!
I’m looking for an orthodontist that is affordable, I’ve gotten quotes for almost $8k and that’s a lot. I did end up getting braces put on from a different country and have decided to continue my treatment here. I’m looking for a ortho in the $5000/6000 range if possible.
Thank you :)

Hi all. Need recommendations for companies that do charcuterie boards, need to feed around 25 people. Would like a nice mix of meats cheeses veggies fruit. I’ve tried posh cheeseboards, loved them but find them pricey. Other recommendations?

Anybody been to IKEA yet? What's it like? Any info would be appreciated. I saw a short reel but I still don't want to get my hopes up about it being great.

Hello. I need to print my resume for an interview on Tuesday. Usually I do this at a library but all of them are closed today. Any suggestions where I can do that? I am in the west area, can travel by bus

Any private or public mechanics in London that have access to VIDA/Orbit or some sort of dealer software to reset the annoying "Volvo On-Call Service Required" message?
I replaced the VCM battery myself but the dealer is asking $325 for a "software update"

I have an overbite and was recently recommended jaw surgery as a treatment option. I’m currently looking into two oral and maxillofacial surgeons in London:
Dr. Keyvan Abbaszadeh
Dr. Michael Shimizu at Western
I’d really like to hear specifically from anyone who has actually had jaw/orthognathic surgery with either of them.
feel free to Dm
thanks
