I know about schoolism and YouTube but I wonder if there are any other programs out there especially one where I could get feedback/ criticism

I want to start animating. I have been drawing cartoons for quite a while now and it feels like nice addition to bring what I draw to life. I have a few options for animation software. A new player on the Windows desktop marked is Callipeg. I can also upgrade my Clip Studio license to EX, and use that. Although I anticipate struggling a lot, the last thing I need is software that works against a beginner. From what I see CSP animation is "clunky" using layers to make sheets, although the app offers a lot of transition tools and I am sure is very capable. I am looking for an app with a simple UI that does allow transformations so not every cell needs to be drawn by hand.

Any thoughts on those two apps? Is there maybe another affordable one I am missing?

I don't have much time to make animations, but I've always liked the anime style. The first animation is from 2025, and the second is from 2026.

This might be obvious, but how do people color and render frame by frame animations? Do you just color each frame and there isn't really an easier way to do it?

I've been looking around the internet for any kind of 2d character rigging software and couldn't find anything (Besides Godot, which doesn't really work that well on my device). Anyone got something?

It's my first animation and my first time animating, critiques and thoughts?. I don't really know the fundamentals, I'm just using my observation.

Seriously! Guys so I have a school Art project where they tell us to pick a topic and draw a portrait of the topic. but I chose Hell and chose the animation route where everyone is drawing on one physical canvas. the clip was chopped in 3 to submit for 3 different project because The time window for one project is so small. I spent 5 months on this in total just to pump out 1:02 minutes (cooked) So Can you guys guess the Topic on this animation lol
