I am here just to share some reminders and tips for Amazon Prime Day, which I know helped out a lot of people who buy monitors in the past. This year, I decided to continue that trend and do the same thing, but with updated information!

Amazon Prime Day or Prime Big Deals is coming up on October 6-7, and I know that lots of people are hoping to catch a good deal! I'd like to make some important points, plus I will add more information from my long-term experience tracking pc components.

1. As the name of the day implies, you will need to be a member of Amazon Prime in order to purchase these deals. Here's a link to sign up for (AMAZON PRIME FOR YOUNG ADULTS) and grab the 1-month free trial for the month. Keep in mind that you will need to cancel after Amazon Prime Day if you do not want to continue paying for Amazon Prime. On the bright side, you can activate this trial once every 12 months, so if you start your trial at the right time each year, you'll have a subscription ready for every Prime Day event.
2. I will be tracking deals all day long for both days of the event. So, I would keep an eye on My Reddit Profile since I will have all Laptop related deals posted. Even beyond that, I will be tracking other retailers that are looking to compete with Amazon for Amazon Prime Day. Personally, I don't know of any other resource that is going to be tracking deals as closely as I am.
3. In addition to my close tracking of deals, feel free to message me with any questions about deals or what devices you should look out for. I will always be available to help.
4. With these sales events, it is always important not to overspend. If you can't afford some of these components, please do not put yourself in debt during this event. It is not going to be worth it. Additionally, make sure you understand what kind of Laptop you need. You don't want to accidentally buy the wrong Laptop or get something that will be an overkill. If you have any doubts, simply message me and I can help advise.
5. I have seen rumors circulating that Amazon is raising prices on all Laptops just to drop them for Amazon Prime Day. While I am not saying that this is impossible, I don't think that this kind of price manipulation is as widespread as some people believe. As a person who tracks prices on Laptops all the time, I haven't seen an unusual mass increase in prices. Of course, it is still possible for Amazon to pull off some last-minute price adjustments, but I'm certain that I will be able to catch them. They represent a somewhat fair price relative to the market (which is crazy right now). These are laptops that have been around a while and are reliable for their price. RAM is generally the most straightforward laptop component to upgrade. So, if you're working with a tight budget, you have the option to choose a laptop with lower RAM and later upgrade it yourself. Overspending on RAM is unnecessary; 16 GB is sufficient for gaming. However, considering 32 GB can provide future-proofing for your laptop.
