Origin Story Cutie came and changed my life.
she used to live on the streets in 2018 with her daughter and her mate. After her mate got brutally killed one night due to street fights with some other dogs and her daughter went missing during 2020 Diwali. She started to come to my house and the rest is, she invited her home, and she is nothing less than my princess.

Origin Story My first indie experience that removed my fear of dogs.
Im currently in Maharasthtra. But before that i used to be dead scared of dogs. If i saw a doogs 100m away from me, i wont go near that area, if i saw a dog 10-20m near me i would just run away and ofc the inde would chase the fuck outta me.
But then we moved to Maharashtra. On one random evening walk we found 3 abandoned puppies ( less than 2 weeks old ). My mother named them P,C,M ( as in phy chem maths cuz im a pcm student ). We fed them in morning walks and they introduced me to how it feels like to pet a dog and have a trust of a dog.
Then one morning they werent there cuz someone picked them up probaly. So that days food went to a random female dog whose one leg was disabled. That one random dog followed us everywhere and anywhere. Shes a young adult female and petting her boosted my confidence so damn much.
We named her sundari. Sundari gave birth to 7 dogs which made me fall.in love with them even more. Apart from that i discovered two more indie dogs near my localcity. So every evening we walk and mold our paths such that we meet all of them and feed them wahtever we can ( fresh/edible food smth which we can eat and biscuits obv ).
This made me learn more about them. I learnt about how to approach them properly. How to figure out if a dog is interested in me or not and more stuff.
Below attached are some photos on sundari and her 7 kids. I havent attached the pictures of two other indies because this post is about her. And also i dont have pictures of PCM.
Thanks for reading!

Origin Story Reddit Has Passed Away.
Hi, Hope you all remember Reddit. A puppy whose life you'll saved by donating generously for it's surgeries. It took me days to gather myself to tell you that Reddit passed away recently.
I honestly can't tell which feels heavier, his death, or the feeling that I let you guys down despite everything we tried and all those surgeries he went through.
Nevertheless, Reddit survived for four months and in that time my family showered him with love and hugs. He became the second son and third child in our home.
All that remains now are our memories of that little rascal gobbling chicken, chasing cats, guarding his home at night, running like the wind and a collar with his name on it.
We love you, Reddit, and hope you are running like you always did. ❤️

Origin Story My human sister found our dog sister 10 years ago
In 2016 , my sister (cousin) woke up to the cries of a canine mom that has been living in our neighborhood. She came out and saw a pool of blood in front of our house. The mama dog was carrying a pup in her mouth whose front left paw was crushed by some vehicle. My sister, along with a couple of neighbours took the puppy to the vet and although she lost her leg, she lived and has been living at my uncle's place ever since. This year she turned 10 and we have been blessed to have her in our lives.
My brother named her Auto because she has three legs (diabolical, ik)

Origin Story My college professor started a NGO and made me one of the board members!!
So basically one of my professors from my Master's (2022-24) randomly told me about starting a NGO in 2025 and asked me if I wanted to a part of it. I said yes and it's been a journey. Although I have been rescuing dogs and animals from Covid times, things started to get tough because it no longer was just an hobby but rather a duty. We made these DIY sleeping baskets for the winters and it really helped the dogs. Any suggestions?

Origin Story The Audacity of Chotu
Hi, my name is Chotu. 🐶🎀
I’m a female, slightly nakchadhi dog with a strong personality and absolutely zero regrets. Sometimes I show a little attitude to Didi, but honestly, she deserves it. 💅🏻😂
My favourite hobbies include taking long sunbaths next to Mummy ☀️, judging everyone silently, and demanding attention whenever I feel like it.
Food preferences? Dal-chawal and sabzi-chawal only. 🍚
Roti? ❌
Doodh? ❌
Please don’t insult me with such things. I have standards. 😌
And yes, I’m a girl, so obviously I expect to be the centre of everyone’s attention. 💅🏻 I need love, compliments, cuddles, food, and preferably all of them at the same time.
As for my mood swings… well, I’m female. What did you expect? 😭😂 They come and go whenever they want, and everyone else simply has to adjust.
Anyway, that’s me.
Cute face, big attitude, questionable demands, and absolutely convinced that the entire house revolves around me. 🐾👑
