Question/Discussion What your thoughts on Jam Redesign?
In my opinion, i feel its a glow up. Dont get me wrong. I like her design in Xrd but Stive design is peak and cooler than Xrd in my opinion.

Ok so I'm really new to the series but I have a friend who is and they HATE Bridget's character in Strive. This is kinda disappointing bc Bridget is what drew me to the series bc I like her style and I learned about her around the same time I realized I was trans, so it was kinda upsetting hearing she was so controversial.
So from what I understand, Bridget was raised as a girl but wanted to be a guy in XX and was a metaphor for a trans man. but then in Strive my friend said Bridget "Loses" the battle for their Identity by identifying as a trans girl. But lots of other trans people i meet aren't offended by Bridget representing trans women in gaming.
I'm just confused. Was this a recon? Did Bridget always want to be a girl? Did they "lose"? Did Bridget have a long talk with themselves about what makes them happy? What's going on?
EDIT My friend is not transphobic and I would honestly bet my life savings on it. They personally identify as trans, they have multiple trans friends including me, and they even set up and maintain lgbtq spaces and events to raise awareness of queer voices.

At the end of Ghost Rider's story mode, after his group saves the world, the four guys head out for a beer, and Deadpool is wearing a T-shirt that says "See you in the DLC".
Well, it all adds up to me, because the guest character for *Strive* this season wouldn't arrive at the end of the season, but rather in the middle—just two months after the release of *Marvel Tokon*. And why would Deadpool wear a "See you in the DLC" t-shirt if he's already a playable character in *Tokon*?
I promise this is going to age fine like wine...
(Sorry for the bad english, i'm still learning :3)

Just curious at how funny people think the community actually is. This should be a save space for all opinions related to the post, even if they're framed rudely or antagonizingly or you simply dont agree. Humor is subjective after all, but somethings are objectively less funny.

She seems to be the queen of yuri ships, so I wanna see what weird yuri ships come up without her

I know this is a stupid question, but here’s what’s worrying me. For starters, I’ve wanted to get into fighting games for a long time—it’s a genre I’ve always wanted to learn—but they are ridiculously expensive. I saved up and finally bought Strive after EVO, since it’s the game I like most out of the current lineup and I’d heard it was one of the best options alongside *SF6. I was happy to hear it just hit another sales milestone, but with the launch of Tokon, I’ve started feeling insecure. I know Marvel is a huge IP and ArcSys is a great developer, which is exactly why I’m nervous; I’ve just started having fun and I want the game to last. I don’t want it to die right when I’m finally enjoying myself and improving. A lot of people might just switch games, but these games are so expensive, and that’s not something I can afford. I love Guilty Gear and I’m happy here. Do you think Tokon will have any impact? Do you think Strive still has a few good years left? I just want to be able to have fun :(
Go ahead and downvote me if you want; I’m just happy playing this game and being part of the community, which is why I want it to last a lot longer.

Mine has to be “I’m not here to fit in this world, I just want to make a difference” from Symphony
Honorable mention to “If everything you know was biased, how would you know?” from Divide My Heart

I'm personally very excited to see how they render her in Strive's 3D cel-shaded style. I understand that guest characters aren't always popular, but I think this one could work.

Honestly wanna see Polneraff in this game. Or like any JoJo character at all

I mean, not having one of the girls from the other soundtrack covers, they are iconic, and strive is missing that

Doesn't have to be something that buffs their gameplay or makes them more meta. It could be a unique feature or maybe a forgotten move or a costume
Like for me I think it would be pretty cool if you could pick Eddie's color separately from Zato so they could be different color palettes or like give a cosmetic just for Eddie
