Honestly it was hard finding highly requested male characters, most of the wants are girls it seems and having it be overwhelmingly women just didn't feel right so I went with a more fair 40/60 split.

So, with Id being added to the game and still no news about Season 3, is it fair to say that support for the game has officially ended?

I love this game, and I honestly still had a little hope that we’d get one final season alongside the announcement of the Switch 2 version. Cygames hasn’t been very clear about it either, but given how indifferent they’ve been, I think it’s pretty clear that it’s over.

Bought the game after many months of watching evo and youtubers, bought a Haute42 T16 that will arrive on OCT 5.

and i decided to look at reddit for more guide and i saw that the game is not gonna get updates anymore? is it true or just speculations? if it is should i even invest on the game now or just refund everything and play on the free version?

Coming from COTW and I just started playing today. I won’t do those generic “is it worth it?” posts because any great game is worth picking up even if it’s late.
But if there’s any good tips or things you wish you knew when you first started playing I’d love to read them. Thanks 🙏🏻.

I remember a while back Sen and Feather were used in an official GBFVR video before the video was edited to remove them. This made people think both characters were in the works

S1 consisted of mostly characters that were ranked high in polls for requested characters so I could see S3 add more that ranked high like Silva, Jeanne, Black knight, Aliza etc. Feather and Seofen also ranked on these polls

Maybe another guest character too? Also maybe a character from Relink?

I came back After a while playing Blazblue and tried to learn a new Character.

But even on peak hours it Took 5-10 Minutes to find a opponent around S+ Rank and often the same person several times.

I hoped people came back After the Id reveal.

How is your experience these days?

which characters have access to a divekick or divekick-like ability? only one i can think of is Zeta, but im sure there are more

I picked him up since i love elemental characters in game and it seems like he really isnt doing alot of swapping. This is just from watching replays most sandys just use fire and rarely anything else

I know wind comes at a risk since the damage penalty is worse but are earth and water just not worth it

i try noble strategy and to throw also overheads and i just cant seem to do anything. my ass is never getting to silver master like this

I've been grinding ranked a lot more recently and am currently in the lower side of master rank. I bounce between 0 and 100 points, give or take a few, and I feel like the overwhelming majority of players I'm against are like 400+ silver master, and I very rarely run into anyone that's ACTUALLY around my rank.

I play against them, I get my ass beat, and I don't think I'm improving at all because I'm mostly going against people who are so much better than me that I can't see how I'm messing up or what I can do to get better.

Is regular master rank really this barren?

TL;DR I love GBFV and have owned it since the original version released in 2020. I think it's one of the best fighting games ever, but I really struggle with online anxiety. Have you overcome this and if so, how? How do you feel when you lose and does it ever get to you?

With Grand Blue I play all the single player stuff. I sit in practice mode for hours and read the strategy wikis and learn combos and beat the arcade mode with everyone, but I get really anxious when I play online. Not like panic attack or anything just like fearful. Of course I'm older and there were certain games I played a lot online like SFiii over GGPO, but that was 13 years ago and I was drinking a lot too. In fact the times in the past year I played online I would have to drink a lot of alcohol. And I don't do that anymore at all.

Anyways this weekend I told myself that I want to learn Eustace - I've thought he was awesome since he was released as DLC in like 2020 and I was having so much fun. I went to go play online and all I could see in my head was getting completely destroyed and the other playing tea bagging me. I could see me getting into a game and seeing the opponents player plate saying "Wins: 2,479 Losses: 4"

Like I even recognize that losing is learning in fighting games, but I've seriously just been a pussy when it comes to doing what I should do: Play online a LOT. I even think the game would become much more fun for me eventually but I keep being a total loser.

Has anyone dealt with this anxiety and overcome it? I think I'm going to force myself to try this weekend - and I KNOW I'll lose at some point because we all do - but how do you keep going when you lose (especially badly). Does it just not affect you? Do you get angry? Help me please because this is something I HAVE to get over. I'm really robbing myself of a great experience because of my stupid brain. It might sound really immature and stupid but just hearing other fans tell me that I can do it is a huge help.

( this might sound crazy but I've been playing fighting game since the 90s and I own like every major fighting game and tons of small time ones. You would think I would be WAY past this by now)

seems to me that the install attacks have so much blockstun that the grab became unavoidable other than maybe a reversal would have worked?

I'm upset but I need genuine advice here, this match up is more frustrating than the one against Ferry. I know I messed up on timing at some points, which was mostly due to frustration and impatience.

I used to be a casual player, especially with fighting games. Migrated from 2xko after realizing it's not a beginner friendly introduction to the genre, yet I managed to do better in that confusing tag fighter despite having less fun. Honestly thinking of switching back because at least I'm better in that game somehow. I thought GBVSR would be an easier fighting game but I guess I was mistaken. This is the worst performance I've ever put up in a videogame in my life, maybe fighting games just isn't my genre. I played 25 games every day for a week only to put up this horrendous stat line, it's getting hard to find the motivation to continue.

2 days ago I reached B rank and had 6,000 points, 60 games later I have 6,087 lmao. I just suck at this game no matter how hard I try. When I mentioned my horrendous 15% winrate a week ago people said it would get better... it did not. I thought other beginners were experiencing the same but I've never seen stats as horrendous as mine. Never spent this much time in a game to still be bad, is this a sign to just go back to what I know and quit this game?

I am new to fighting games. I had tried fighterz before because a friend wanted to check it out again ( he has been playing fighting games for years ) but never quite got into it cause I never actually played for myself I just played to fight him in room matches so I never got the hang of inputs, movement and blocking being pressing backwards. With Granblue having easy inputs and a block button, something I am used to from other games, I got a decent hang of it quickly. I have been playing for not even a whole month now and have fallen in love with the game, but it's recently come to my attention that Id is the last dlc and maybe update?? So my question is, would you consider this game alive currently with how much time it takes to queue ( like, is this normal European queue time for fighters? ), how much longer do you think it will stay like this before it "dies" and if it does, where should I go knowing I love Granblue.

I play a lot of FighterZ and Guilty Gear Strive, and I’ve been keeping an eye on Granblue. My concern is buying it and the online being weak. I’m not entirely sure, and I’m probably wrong since I think it even has a world tournament going on right now.

But I don’t want to spend a lot on a game that doesn’t have many active players, like BlazBlue. I used to play it a lot on PS4, but when I moved to PC and got it there, I could barely find matches.

The start menu registers my controller just fine, but whenever i get to the main menu, it stops registering it and only registers my keyboard instead. It’s only registering my controller as both player 2 & 3. Is there a way to fix this or am i just screwed?
