My gf and I are looking for a discord based group or GM. We’ve played PF1, Shadowrun 5e, SWADE and some others with myself or another as GM.

We’ve never played Burning Wheel but we’re looking for RP heavy with consequences.

I run an easy going SWADE game on Mondays with dungeon crawler mechanics. It’s short and sweet but not scratching the itch.

We want to spend 4-7 hours exploring another world with fellows of a like mind; rather than a few hours of casino RP with a few meme references

Nothing wrong with that; we just want more or that in addition to some world building

BW has fascinated me as a system for a long time, but I never got a chance to play it until recently - a GM at my local FLGS ran a campaign about a Inuit-esque Stone Age tribe in a myth-filled fantasy setting. It was an absolute blast and everything I'd hoped for, but at the same time the atypical setting and the relative inexperience of everyone involved (even the GM had only ever run a one-shot) means Im pretty sure I didnt get the full experience of how the game is meant to be played.

Problem is, I have no idea where to go looking in search of another game. This sub appears pretty quiet itself, r/LFG seems exclusively D&D5 games, even the recruiting boards on VTTs like Roll20 come up empty. Barring the miraculous appearance of another local GM, I'm at a loss for other options.

Just seeing if anyone plays and would like to maybe run some sort of game ? I need to buy the rule book and learn the rules but i am very eager to try

Hello, I'm a recent graduate living in Philly area and wondering if there is anybody playing in the area. I own the Gold Edition and reading through it makes me feel like it is exactly my jam, but I don't feel confident GMing right away. If there is anyone looking to GM, play, or even just help me through the game in the area I would like to talk. Feel free to DM me, thanks!

In a funny coincidence with the thread about running 1-on-1 games, just last night I was thinking that a duet game would be awesome. I've been itching to get some roleplaying in my life, and specifically a Burning Wheel game. A duet would give me the chance to really dig in to the fiddly systems with less worry about spotlight sharing, and hopefully make scheduling and consistency easier.

Would you like to play with me? I'd like to play a PC, but I'm not opposed to GMing. I was imagining we could GM for each other, maybe alternating sessions or arcs, but I'm open to other situations.

I've been playing and running Burning Wheel since 2009 or so. I like grungy, zero to hero games, but I'm also interested in exploring the game's capacity for rural fantasy. I think Folklore will be my favorite magic system once I can get it to the table, and I'm really intrigued by the warfare system in the Anthology.

Logistically, I'm a stay-at-home dad for a 2 year old, I live on the East Coast of the US, and I'm familiar with most of the widely available online gaming tools.

1 Player looking to set up a longterm weekly text based or play by post on any day, but that will be discussed between us. Timezone is Central Standard Time (CST) , although date and time for the campaign can be discussed, as well what edition is used in the campaign.

For this campaign I was wanting to do a heavy political intrigue campaign I was wanting it of course to be texted based or play by post. I also wanted this to be a duo campaign meaning two players and GM or a solo campaign meaning me and the GM. For Both the GM and player I was interested in having those to be a paid position for the GM of the campaign I am willing to pay $10-20 a session while the player we could talk about the amount you would receive if given. We can discuss more about what I had planned if you are interested in my DM’s

Hello guys my name is Ty and I am looking for a GM who is willing to be paid or a paid GM who would be willing to run a. Burning Wheel solo campaign. For this campaign I wanted it to be by text but I can do voice as well. I wanted this campaign to be the typical political intrigue campaign, but for a bonus I have been very interested in doing a historical Japanese setting. So if we could do the Blossoms are Falling supplement for Burning Wheel that would be awesome as well. If you are interested please don’t hesitate to give me a text on Reddit or discord @Bestie_TT#6639
