Qualifying streamed on Saturday from 14.00 on the ITV Sport Extra YouTube channel. Race day broadcasted from 10.30 on ITV (not sure why I can’t add the nice captions to the image today, hence the scrawl…)
A 23 car grid, with Osamu Kawashima replacing Ricky Collard (who sits 4th in the overall standings) at Team Vertu. Charles Rainford’s WSR BMW will be running a special livery.
Ash Sutton (NAPA Ford) looks set to wrap up the driver’s title already this weekend, a record-breaking 5th, sitting 115 points ahead of 2nd-placed Dan Cammish (NAPA Ford). He’d need to gain 5 points over Cammish to win it in race 1 (I think!) otherwise he’s on course to have an insurmountable lead by race 2. Tom Ingram (Vertu Hyundai) sits in 3rd, only 9 points behind Cammish.
Sub-championships: Alliance/NAPA are also well placed to win both the Manufacturers and Teams championships this weekend, and Dexter Patterson (PMR Audi) looks to take the Jack Sears Trophy uncontested. Teammate Mikey Doble sits atop the independent driver’s standings and his team LKQ PMR heads the independents teams by a clear margin, although both of those are likely to be decided at Brands Hatch.

TLDR: Ricky Collard has been replaced by a 57-year-old Japanese rookie. Ash Sutton will most likely be crowned champion a round early. None of the other sub-championships are particularly close, and most will probably be wrapped up this weekend too.
