[Web beta] Can you test an Indian birthplace search and its manual-coordinate fallback?

• Upvotes

I’m the founder of AstroBharat, an astrology learning and reflection beta focused on India. I’d appreciate help testing the birthplace selection in its free chart calculator.

Try it: https://astrobharat.ompanchal.workers.dev/chart

Using sample birth details:

  • Search for an Indian town or village you know.
  • Check whether the district/state labels identify the correct result.
  • Select it and check the filled coordinates and timezone.
  • Try manual coordinates if your location is missing.

No signup is needed for this flow. Please share only the place name, device/browser and confusing step , not your private birth details.

Hospital coverage is limited, and Google Maps isn’t activated. The calculator supports tropical and custom-offset sidereal charts; it isn’t a validated Lahiri implementation.

Which step would you change first?

[Beta Testers Wanted] Past Paper Studio — a free, open-source app for practicing Cambridge past papers

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I just released Beta 1.0 of Past Paper Studio, a free and open-source desktop app I’ve been building for students who practice with Cambridge past papers.

I’m looking for people willing to try the first public beta and give me feedback on bugs, usability, performance, or anything that feels confusing/broken.

What can you do with it?

  • Search and browse Cambridge past papers
  • View papers and mark schemes directly in the app
  • Practice papers with built-in answering and drawing tools
  • Use Exam Mode for a more realistic timed attempt
  • Optionally use AI-assisted grading
  • Save and resume attempts
  • View your previous activity and attempts
  • Flag papers/questions for later
  • Customize the app with themes, fonts, profiles, and more

What I especially need tested

Since this is the first public beta, I’d love feedback on things like Exam Mode, PDF rendering, drawing/annotation tools, saving and resuming attempts, AI grading, general UX, crashes, and installation.

Even small things like “this button was confusing” or “I expected this to work differently” are useful!

Current requirements

macOS 26+
Apple Silicon (M1 or newer)

Unfortunately, there’s no Windows/Linux build yet. The current macOS build is also not Apple-notarized, since this is an early free beta, so the GitHub release explains that limitation.

A note on development

I’m a student myself, and PPS originally started as something I wanted for my own studying.

I built it with significant help from AI coding tools, mainly for implementation, debugging, testing, and packaging. I’ve been actively designing and developing the project over time — including the features, UX, testing, iteration, and overall direction. I’m still learning programming, and AI has helped me turn those ideas into something I can actually ship.

The entire project is open source under GPLv3, so you can also inspect the source if you’re interested.

GitHub / Download

Past Paper Studio on GitHub

If anyone tries it, I’d genuinely appreciate hearing what worked, what broke, and what you think should change.

Thanks! :)

[Web beta] I built a 2-minute daily science mystery — looking for 15 honest testers

• Upvotes

I’m building Thank Science, a free daily experience where you make a prediction, unlock clues, and then see the real scientific explanation.

I’ve tested it myself too many times, so I now need feedback from people who have never seen it.

Today’s mystery takes about 2–3 minutes. No account or download is required:

https://thank-science-project.vercel.app/mystery

After finishing, please answer the two quick choices inside the app.

If you leave a comment, I only want to know one thing: At what point did you become curious—or lose interest?

Brutally honest feedback is welcome. I’ll share what I change based on it.

Android players in India: help playtest CHAOS BOX, a free box-puzzle game

• Upvotes

Hi everyone! I’m Virat, the developer of CHAOS BOX, and I’m looking for 6–12 volunteer Android players in India to help improve it before launch.

The game has 30 levels built around moving boxes and playful obstacles, optional hints, and the option to skip a level after 10 genuine failed attempts. It’s free and currently has no ads or in-app purchases.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on whether the touch controls feel comfortable, which levels are enjoyable or frustrating, and any bugs you encounter. Please try several levels and share honest feedback—positive reviews are not required.

This is a Google Play closed test, currently available only in India. Volunteers should be willing to remain opted in for at least 14 days and play during that period.

To request access, email [viratchauhan607@gmail.com](mailto:viratchauhan607@gmail.com) with the subject “CHAOS BOX tester” using your Google Play account email. Please keep your email private rather than posting it in comments. I’ll add you to the tester list and confirm when access is ready.

After confirmation, use the same Google account to join here, then follow the Google Play installation link:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.viratchauhan.chaosbox

Thank you! Feedback can be sent to the same email, ideally with your phone model and the level number if something goes wrong.

Looking for a few people to test a free used-car flip calculator

I built a free web tool called FlipGuard for people who flip used cars.

You enter the asking price, mileage, repair estimates, fees, expected resale value and target profit.

It gives you best / likely / worst-case profit, ROI, risk, and what you should offer.

I’m looking for a few testers to run one real listing through it and tell me one thing:

Where did the tool feel confusing, unrealistic, or incomplete?

No signup, completely free:

[Web, Beta] Looking for a few people to test my water fountain map

Hi, I’m working on a web app that helps people find public drinking fountains and bottle refill stations.
I’d like a few people to try it on their phone or computer and tell me where the experience is confusing or broken.
https://watter-mu.vercel.app/
If you test it, I’d especially like to know:
• Did search work for your city?
• Were the fountain locations accurate?
• Was the map easy to use?
• Did anything load slowly or fail?
• What would you change first?
It’s still a beta, so direct criticism is useful.
Thanks.

Looking for Android testers for Foyer, a native Plex client I've been building

I've been building Foyer, an Android app for Plex,. It been in the works for a few months and currently it's in closed testing on Google Play. I'm looking for people who use Plex day to day and will tell me honestly what's broken, confusing or missing.

What it does so far:

  • Movies, TV and music from your server
  • Live TV with a guide grid, if you run a DVR
  • Downloads for offline
  • Continue Watching that updates the second you stop something
  • Seerr requests built in, including requesting just the seasons you're missing
  • Picture-in-picture, skip intro/credits, subtitle search and styling
  • A home screen music widget

What I'm after: anything that doesn't work the way you'd expect, things the official app does that this doesn't, and anything that annoys you. Small stuff counts. I've been turning reports around fast, often the same week.

Everyone who tests gets Pro free when it launches.

To join: If you're interested, DM me the Gmail you use on the Play Store and I'll add you and send the link. I'm keeping it limited so I can keep up with feedback.

It's unofficial and not affiliated with Plex. Thanks all!!

Looking for 10–20 people to test an anonymous app I’ve been building

Hi everyone,

I’ve spent the last few months building something called The Universe, and I’m looking for a small group of people to help test it before I release it more broadly.

The idea is simple:
You anonymously share a hope, goal, ambition, or something that matters to you.
Other anonymous people can show their support or leave you a message.
Later, you can share what happened.

There are no profiles, followers, likes, or public identities. The focus is on small moments of anonymous human connection.

This is an early beta, so I’m looking for honest feedback. In particular, I’d love to know:
Was anything confusing?
Did the app explain itself naturally?
Did sharing something feel meaningful?
How did it feel receiving support from strangers?
What would stop you from using it again?

It should take about 10 minutes to explore, although you’re welcome to come back over a few days if you’d like.

If you’re interested, comment below or send me a DM and I’ll send you the link

Looking for builders: 30 days free to build one project with my LLM gateway + competition at the end

I’m looking for people who actually want to build with something, not just click around a demo and tell me the button should be blue. I built AetherGate, an LLM gateway for using multiple AI providers through one API. It handles things like BYOK, routing, failover, spend controls and multi-model/agent workflows. I’m opening a 24-hour signup window for a Build Challenge. If you sign up during that window: - you get 30 days free - no card required - no automatic subscription afterward - you choose one project - you have 30 days to build it At the end I’m reviewing the projects and the best fully functioning software wins. I’ll mainly be looking at whether it works, usefulness, originality, execution and how meaningfully it uses the gateway. The winner gets one year of AetherGate unlocked and I’ll feature the project afterward. I’m doing this because 30 people actually building things will expose weaknesses and weird edge cases way faster than 300 people casually clicking around the dashboard. So if you like building AI software and want a reason to ship something over the next month: 24 hours to enter. 30 days to build.

[Android, Beta] Looking for Android feedback on nabchat — Twitch, YouTube, and Kick chats together

I recently launched nabchat for Android and I'm looking for practical feedback from people who watch or moderate livestreams.

nabchat combines Twitch, YouTube, and Kick chat in one app. It includes three viewing modes, multiple enabled channels, emotes, saved chatters, analytics, appearance controls, and channel profile pictures.

I'm especially interested in feedback on: • performance when several busy chats are active • missing or incorrectly rendered emotes • whether the River, Rooms, and Rug layouts are easy to understand • anything that feels slow or confusing

The free version supports up to six enabled channels. There's also an optional one-time upgrade for unlimited channels and removing ads.

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nabchat.app

If you try it, please tell me which streaming platforms and Android device you tested.

[Web, Beta] Looking for feedback on a vocal and instrumental separator

Hi, I run https://freevocalremover.ai, which is currently in beta. It separates vocals and instrumentals from audio or video files, with both outputs available as MP3 downloads.

It’s a freemium service: after signing in, you get 300 seconds of free processing per day. I’m looking for feedback on vocal bleed, audio artifacts, and the upload/download flow. If you try it, what worked for you, and what would you change?

Voyager: keeps all your tracking numbers in one list. looking for a few people to try signing up and adding a package

i made this, it's just me running it. it's a web app that keeps tracking numbers from different carriers in one list. it's live and the free plan needs no card.

free is up to 10 active packages. no shipment emails on free, those are on the paid plan. updates come through a tracking provider so they can lag, and amazon tracking is limited.

if you've got a package of your own on the way anyway, could you sign up, add it, and tell me where you got stuck?

https://app.raylight-voyagertracking.com/

18+ only, and please don't post tracking numbers in here.

12 Android testers wanted for Testport, an offline backflow field-record app (14-day closed test)

Hi everyone, I’m Shahrad, an independent Android developer. I’m looking for 12 people to help test my new app, Testport: Backflow Records, before its public release.

It’s built for backflow testers and service technicians to record site details, equipment information, pressure readings, and observed results. You can save a draft, finish it later, and generate a PDF field report.

You don’t need plumbing experience to help test the app. Please use fictional details. I’d especially appreciate feedback on filling out the forms, reopening saved drafts, and generating PDFs.

How to join:

Use the same Google account for these three steps:

  1. Join the testers group:

https://groups.google.com/g/testport-backflow-records-testers

  1. Opt in to the closed test:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.backflow.fieldreporting

  1. Install Testport:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.backflow.fieldreporting

Please stay opted in for 14 consecutive days and try the app during that time. If anything feels confusing, doesn’t save correctly, or produces an unexpected result, let me know in the comments.

The first five completed reports are free, including PDF generation, so no purchase is needed to test that workflow. Field records stay on your device; the free version includes a banner ad on the home screen.

Thanks for taking the time to help!

I built a tool that locks MT5/NinjaTrader when you start revenge trading. Looking for 10 prop traders to try to break it (free)

I kept failing challenges the same way: a normal loss, then 20 minutes of revenge trading at double size, and the daily limit was gone. So I built TiltGuard.

It runs on your PC next to MT5 or NinjaTrader 8 and:

  • locks your platform before the firm's daily loss limit (at 50%, 75% or 90% of it, your choice)
  • catches tilt patterns (trades right after a loss, size jumps, losing streaks) and starts a cooldown
  • can close trades opened during a lock, even from your phone (optional; the MT5 add-on is in beta)
  • won't let you raise a limit for 24 hours, so you can't talk yourself out of it mid-tilt
  • shows you exactly why you were locked, in your own numbers

I'm looking for 10 traders on Windows (MT5 or NinjaTrader 8) to run it for a week and tell me honestly what's broken or annoying. You get the first month free.

Full disclosure: I made it, and it's a paid product after the beta. Comment or DM me and I'll send a code.

Would a photo wardrobe help you choose outfits? CIESE Android beta needs real-use feedback

I am developing CIESE and looking for Android users who would like to try organizing a few garment photos and previewing outfits. I want to learn whether this is useful in everyday clothing decisions and where the app feels confusing.

The closed beta is now 0.2.0 (31). You can take or import garment photos, organize your wardrobe, enlarge a photo-based try-on mirror, and drag to rotate an outfit preview. Recent changes address camera/retake and navigation problems; real-device feedback is still valuable.

A small test to try: add a few clothes, retake one photo, browse a category, then open the mirror and try the rotation gesture. Tell me what you expected, what happened, and whether it helped you think about an outfit. I would also appreciate reports of clipped labels in light/dark mode, keyboard issues or Back navigation problems.

Joining takes two steps using the same Google account:

  1. Join https://groups.google.com/g/ciese-android-testers

  2. Open https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.closet.demo.app and select “Become a tester”, then use the Google Play install link. Group membership alone is not enrollment in the Play test.

Android 8.0+ is required. The currently enabled Play countries are Taiwan, the US, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand. Download is about 470 MB and varies by device.

Please remain opted in for at least 14 consecutive days and use it on several occasions. Participation is voluntary and unpaid, and no purchase is required. Android point purchases and checkout are currently unavailable. Only use photos you are permitted and comfortable to provide.

Comment or DM if interested. For feedback, your phone model, Android version, screen and reproduction steps are enough; please leave personal information out of screenshots and do not post your email publicly. Thanks for helping shape the app!

[Windows] ClingNote — notes that follow the files you’re working on. Looking for testers/feedback

I built a Windows notes app around one idea I wanted to test:

What if your notes lived with the files they’re actually about?

It’s called ClingNote.

You can attach a note to basically any Windows file. Open that file later and its notes come back automatically. Switch to another file and ClingNote switches to the notes attached to that one.

I built it because I kept ending up with notes about spreadsheets, documents, projects, etc. sitting somewhere completely separate from the thing I was actually working on.

I’m also building Tasks/checklists around the same idea.. so a file can eventually bring back both its notes and the things you still need to do for it.

There’s a full notes app around that core: rich text, Markdown, PDFs, search, images, tables, code blocks, etc.

What I’d really like tested:

Attach a note to a file you actually use, switch to a few other files, close it, then come back to it later.

I’d especially like to know:

  • Does the whole “notes that follow your files” concept click once you use it?
  • Is attaching a note to a file obvious?
  • Does the automatic switching feel useful or distracting?
  • Was there anything in the first 5–10 minutes that confused you?
  • Is there something you expected it to do that it doesn’t?

Windows 10/11.

There’s a 2-week Pro trial with no credit card required, and there’s a free version afterward, so you don't need to buy anything to test it.

https://ClingNote.com

It’s also available through the Microsoft Store.

If anyone actually spends some time with it and sends me useful feedback, I’m happy to give out some lifetime Pro codes too!

Positive or negative feedback is welcome. At this point, knowing what feels confusing or unnecessary is probably more useful to me than “looks good.”

I kept losing videos I meant to post, so I built a camera-roll organizer for creators — looking for beta testers

I film for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts, and my camera roll was a graveyard. I'd film a clip, plan to post it, then never find it again. Any "organizer" app I tried was desktop-first, team-priced, or wanted me to talk to an AI.
So I built Kazzy. It's deliberately simple

What I'd love your help with:
Does the workflow actually match how you manage footage, or is something missing?
Where do you currently keep videos you haven't posted yet?
Would you pay $5.99/mo for this, or is the free tier the sweet spot?
Link in comments. Brutal feedback welcome — that's what I'm here for.

DM ME!

Impulse: when you're about to stress-eat or doomscroll, it puts 3 better options one tap away

I kept catching myself reaching for snacks or my phone on autopilot. Every habit app I tried wanted me to track streaks afterward, and none of them helped in the actual moment.

So I built Impulse. You pick a habit to break and a few quick swaps. When the urge hits, you tap to choose an alternative (right from your lock screen if you want), and it keeps count of every time the new habit wins.

Free beta, iPhone only: https://testflight.apple.com/join/3bJyHEfh

What I'd like feedback on:

- Was setup clear?

- Did you open it again after day 1? Why or why not?

- What would make you actually reach for it when the urge hits?

Happy to test your app in return.

I built a browser radio you paint like a hardware unit

I wanted a web radio that doesn’t look like a website. You tune a station catalog, then swap the face: stock unit, LCD, or a pack you paint yourself (PNG + which knobs exist).

Skins stay on your machine. No account to listen or draw. Name is still “radio”; it’ll change.

https://radio-ao4.pages.dev

Curious if anyone here would actually finish a skin, or if this is just a toy I like.
